First time. Great place and really delicious innovating japanese food. To come back in annother ocasion.
Excellent as always! Sushi was fresh and well presented. Others had the Miku Zen and loved it.
Food was outstanding. Service was excellent. Nice views, too. It was quite loud when we where there - there was some sort of networking event happening in the room adjacent to our dining area and the noise from 50 people speaking was spilling over. But other than that, it was great
2 dishes have already been served and our cocktails were still “backed up”. I only found out because I asked where the cocktails were. A little heads up that it’s backed up would be nice. Cocktails tend to be served first.
We had problems getting to our reservation on time due to gridlock traffic. When we called the restaurant was very accommodating and we ended up changing the time of our visit from lunch to dinner since they stopped serving one of the dishes we wanted to have at 3pm. The food was creative, inventive and absolutely fresh tasting and delicious. The opera cake was incredible.
This place is outstanding, amazing Japanese food: I recommend the Salmon Oshi Sushi the house specialty. The service was great, discreet, efficient. Thank you to Aaron, Beck, and Jessica! You made our anniversary very special
Amazing food and great service!
This is hands down the best restaurant I have ever been to for sushi. There's no point in going anywhere else. I promise, you won't be disappointed. THE BEST.
They weren’t too accommodating when it came to the food. Menu had very limited options.
Best sushi I've had in my life, with a fantastic view, ambiance, and location. Service was friendly and prompt. I had the chef's selection (one piece of each of their 12 rolls) and the green tea square dessert. Taste, presentation, and portion were all top notch.
Miku is always amazing. A must visit when in Vancouver.
Marriage proposal. The manager was very helpful in setting everything up months in advance. The hostess and manager were very helpful when we arrived. The chef did a wonderful job of building the ring into the design of one of the dishes. Our server was amazing in making the night perfect, and taking wonderful pictures. A perfect experience.
Delicious and great service - but this should be expected. Love the sushi and the soba. Great cocktails - if you like mangos try Miyazaki #2!
I dined at Miku on a Wed night so it was not too crowded but still some people need a short wait for tables. We reserved a table ahead and I think that was why we got a very good table for two by the window. Food was always great at Miku even though I was there more than 20 times. Miku is one of the Japanese restaurants that serve high quality sashimi in Vancouver. Food quality was similar to when I actually dined in Japan.
Excellent Food... dined again the next day and enjoyed a different selection
I can’t wait to come back. From the simple bar menu to the amazing 1/2 litre of sake. Next time I’ll be coming for dinner. Thank you Miku
We were celebrating my girlfriend’s mom’s birthday. We were seated at a table with a great view overlooking the five sails. Our server although I did not catch her name was excellent. Being in the service industry myself I notice the little things. Table maintenance was immaculate, she checked in on every course and was very diligent in communicating gluten aware dishes to my girlfriends mom as she was gluten free. A happy birthday was written elegantly on the dessert plate when it came. Definitely one of the better dining experiences I’ve had in vancouver in a while.
Thank you for creating a memorable experience for us that evening.
Consistently amazing! The food and service is always tops here at Miku. On top of that, the flavors here are unique which is rare and makes it so you don’t feel like you are at just any other Japanese restaurant!
This is my “go to” sushi place in Vancouver for Aburi but this time not only were the “oshi(s)” not up to par but neither was the Miku or Red Wave rolls. The edamame was way over salted. One of our party was not a sushi eater and the chicken dishes were no longer available. On a positive note the Sommelier Brent and server Elle were exceptional. Sine they have been excellent each time before I’ll give them a pass hoping they will look into the experience.
Been a loyal customer at Miku and the service, ambience and food always brings me back!
Great view. Outstanding service. Fabulous food. Highly recommend chef’s choice for sushi.
Overall the experience was just as amazing as the first time I went last year. The servers were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was lovely, we had a table in a side room so was quite nice and more personal. The food was delicious once again and the chefs did an amazing job with taste and presentation. Defiantly one of my favorite locations in Vancouver.
Loved it! We had the perfect table and the food was so good..
Our waitress, Sing, was very kind and incredibly helpful. The food was delicious, but the restaurant was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation.
Miku never disappoints me. I simply love this place in and out.
Amazing everything. Food, service, location, service, atmosphere. Everything was top notch!
Not as good as expected. Sushi rolls were very bland
will be better if the restaurant update their menu more often
Love, love, love this place! It's our second time there. The service was perfect!
Oshi sushi at Miku never fails to surprise me!
The service was exceptional, our waitress was very attentive and friendly. as a group most of us enjoyed the food the only dish that was not very good was the fish and chips I found there was not much flavour and it was not as crisp as I thought it would be My daughter's entrée was not good and had to go back because of the sauce, but it was replaced very quickly with a dish she enjoyed. thanks for the opportunity to provide feedback
Great place for a special occasion! Requested a table by the window and they gave us a table with a fantastic view of Canada place. They also created a lovely birthday dessert for us.
Comidadeliciosa todo excelente. El personal amable.
Falta buena musica
The food is excellent. Fresh and creative sushi. Service is attentive and friendly.
Impeccable as always. Food was superb and the view is great.
The restaurant itself has a wonderful vibe, the staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. The food was delicious! I particularly enjoyed the salmon oshi and the sablefish. During my dining experience , I didn't have to look for my server once, which was great! The food arrives at a perfect time, so you are never waiting around.
Had a reservation in the main dining room, but was seated in the bar by entryway. Hostess not friendly.
Food was delicious, we definitely ate slower than normal to savor everything! Great view of waterfront. The servers were fantastic, knowledgeable, and very accommodating to help with birthday surprises (: Thanks Miku!
It's expensive but worth it. But expensive if you don't have deep pockets. Took my boss here for lunch and so it was ok.
