Delicious meal and setting per usual, but the server was unfriendly. Last couple of times the service was outstanding so it was surprising and a little embarrassing as I brought an out-of-town guest and raved about the restaurant to her. However the service was efficient and attentive so not bad just not to the level I experienced before.
I ordered a Miku Kaiseki set, it’s quite expensive ($110 without tax and tips), but it’s very delicious😋
Amazing lunch at Miku Vancouver. We had reservations for 1:45 through Open Table but we called as we were going to be in the area early and we were able to get a table for noon. When we got to Miku we were seated at a table which faced the water and a view of Canada Place. We got great recommendations from the staff as to possible choices for sharing or if we wanted to have our own lunch and what were popular choices. We ordered the Aburi Chirashi tart, Kyoto Saikyo Miso Baked Sablefish, Chef’s Select (which came with Miso soup and salad), the salmon and mackerel oishi sushi. For dessert we had the Green Tea Opera and the Praline Azuki Bean Carre. Everything was sooo good and the fish was very fresh. Our waitress was very hospitable and was very accommodating. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely come back again.
The best sushi I have had in a very long time. The salad portions are generous. All the dishes we tried were so interesting and delicious. Excellent service- our waiter Thomas was courteous, knowledgeable and professional.
A fabulous tasting menu and we really enjoyed all of the different tastes and textures. Ask for a table at the front for a view across the bay ... but any table is fine. It’s well worth a visit.
Miku has some of the best sushi I have ever had! Coming from someone who lives in Seattle and gets fresh sushi all the time, this definitely competes! Reservation is a must, and be prepared for a jam packed house. Service was great regardless.
Awesome food and excellent service! Would definitely come again with my family and friends.
We were there for a birthday and ordered the kaiseki menu's. Our waiter, Sing (not sure about the spelling but that's how she pronounced it, maybe Seung?) was lovely! She was very accommodating about us ordering the two different versions of the menu and explained every dish in detail. She also went above and beyond in offering to take photos for us, splitting dishes where appropriate, and even giving us recommendations about where to go once our meal was over. Everything was timed perfectly and tasted delicious, it reminded us of Michelin star experiences that we have had before.
Amazing service but I asked to have a table with a nice view of the water. I instead got a table next to the main walkway of the restaurant, near the bar. A lot of traffic and chatter from people around the bar. Put a damper on my date.
Beautiful, delicious food, paired with an amazing view of the Harbour front. One of the best meals I have had in a long while. If you are into sushi, seafood, or just great food, this place is a must. As someone who has some seafood allergies, they were extremely accommodating, and already offer many great alternatives.
Best sushi in town. You have to try this place if you are visiting!!
Delicious but expensive
The sushi is so good it will ruin all other sushi places for you.
Always a wonderful experience at Miku. Love the offerings.
Not bad but service poor.
Really amazing food. I had the set menu and just about everything was delicious. We were in Vancouver for 5 days and Miku was easily my favorite place to eat while there. I almost wished we went there a 2nd time before leaving.
Absolutley love this restaruant!
Food is amazing, love Miku zen and Sushi select, their Aburi nigiris are my fav!!
Service is excellent, and restuaurnt has a nice view! Definitely recommend this place!
Went to Miku for a date night with my husband and LOVED it. The service is excellent and the food was great. We shared a sashimi platter and the seaweed salad. My husband ordered the sablefish and I ordered the Aburi Prime platter. ALL the food was incredible. We both really enjoyed our dishes and would definitely go again!
This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We got the 5 course meal with sake pairings. The nigiri is second to none and the wagyu beef carpaccio was incredible. Pricey but worth every penny! Awesome sake too!
Reservations made because of a distant memory of a friend from years ago, I know why they never really forgot about Miku.... the food was amazing and the service left you feeling like you mattered. This will most certainly become a preferred dining location in my travels to Vancouver!
A great choice for high-end sushi. Don't expect your neighbourhood California Roll here.
The service is good. The food is just okay. I found it was better before. The noise level is high.
Amazing. I was a little later than I had hoped but then the noise level was down. But so very happy to dine there.
Best sushi and service
Great food as always. Great views. The only criticism I have is the noise level. Seems like sound really reverberates in this environment.
Avoid the oshi sushi. Although its their signature dish, it a lot of rice and the wonderful sushi is lost in there. The Miku Roll is amazing.
Amazing food. Great service especially with how long I took to choose the wine. And my water never got empty I dont know who the guy was but 4 of us were very impressed! Also had a severe allergy at our table she was well taken care of. Would highly recommend dining here.
Considering the number of servings and quality/taste of food, price is not actually expensive. Their aburi is so yummy!
Great food, pleasant atmosphere, good service
I love coming to miku, they have good vegetarian options. My favourite is the tofu salad, very refreshing!
Superb as usual!
I love this place so much holy
A stunning meal, at a stunning restaurant by an incredibly talented kitchen and wonderful waitstaff....we had so much fun....it was the highlight of our dining experiences in Vancouver!
I do like the place in theory but I just tink it's a bit pricey for the small portions of food you get. Quality is good but not brilliant. Sashimi Salmon pieces are tiny and thin, have had much better and half the price and double the size in other places in the city.
Hahahahahahahahhahahahaahahahahahahahahaha very good
Based on reviews and recommendations by my colleagues, I expected much more from Miku. The food was good but I’ve had similar for a cheaper more reasonable price. The ebi fitters were good although it’s essentially huge shrimp tempuras with takoyaki like sauces. The torched sushi was well balanced, the fish and sauce complemented each other well. The GF roll, as per my coworker, was mediocre. I did love the green tea opera dessert though! The presentation and taste was wonderful, not too sweet as well.
