Amazing food and service. Never disappointed!
Again another good experience. The service was as expected and of course the food was always consistently tasty.
Very enjoyable. Thank you
Got a really nice dating there, the oshi taste really good. It’s one of the best Japanese restaurant I have been.
Great service and amazing food with a fantastic atmosphere!!!!
Very overpriced and pretentious.
This is an amazing little gem of creative, fresh, and swoon-worthy food; brave, delicious plates, perfectly seasoned and leaving your mouth watering for more. The dessert was ^incredible^ ...highly recommend !
This is by far the best Sushi restaurant in Canada.
We make the effort to dine at Miku whenever we visit Vancouver and our last visit was likely our most memorable. As world cuisine becomes more interesting and chefs continue to push the boundaries & explore new boundaries, one wonders if some of the established restaurants will fall behind. Resoundingly I can say Miku is not stagnating. Really good sushi / Japanese cuisine can be difficult to find in Canada but Miku delivers both on a high level. The staff is young but works hard and their effort to ensure a superb dining experience and compliment the delicious flavours found in each savoury (yes, savoury) dish is noted. We will be back soon.
We had the Aburi Kaiseki with wine pairing. It was the perfect dinner for a long face to face dinner with my wife. The view was fantastic and we had really good service.
Bad service, waiter didn’t focus on us, sushi had been sitting and was dried out and warm
Fantastic meal! Hats off to the chefs. Truly an experience. Try the Aburi Prime. Do not miss out on the Aburi Oshi Sushi either. Service was friendly although a little slow. For what you’re paying, I’d expect much better service - a quicker greeting, checking in on how things are, not having to ask for basics like water refills or to order something else. But our server was engaging and very detailed when we did see her. I’d still recommend eating here. Just know you’ll wait a bit.
Great as always! The aburi salmon is so good, as is everything else I’ve tried so far
We went for a special dinner. Very nice atmosphere. Great food. Our server was knowledgeable about what was included in each dish. The prices were good for the quality of the food.
The experience and food was great as usual. The Aburi Oshi never gets old. Miku very kindly accommodated the birthday cake we brought for my daughters birthday!
Outstanding venue, service, food and experience. Food was extraordinary.
I found the Aburi and nigiri average and every piece tasted the same. Very disappointing. We went to the blue water cafe the night before and it was immensely superior to this crap. I don’t know why people like it so much. It’s overpriced and the food is average at best.
We visit Vancouver a couple of time per year, and Miku is a regular spot. The sushi offerings are precisely cut and taste is also uniquely good. Service always good. Price is on high side, and it can be noisy. Be sure to reserve a table
Our waiter was excellent, and the food was fantastic! However, the noise was a bit hard to have conversation with.
Thank you for making our 10th Anniversary evening amazing! I can’t recall our waiters name (we think it was Vaughn?) but he was on point!! That sake flight caused a little sportiness in my memory 😜. The complimentary dessert was such a delicious treat 💕🎉🥂 As was everything else we sampled. Cheers! - we will be back!
We enjoyed our casual lunch at this restaurant in the downtown of Vancouver. We were allocated to a table with beautiful view of the harbor, which had definitely enhanced the overall dining experience. The food was average + in terms of freshness of the ingredients but the service was excellent.
Amazing food. Seriously stunning.
Service was decent, if a bit frenetic.
It was loud-enough that the servers had to lean in to your ear to explain the dishes. Far too noisy for a business dinner, though it would be great for a group of friends.
La vista junto a las ventanas del fondo es lindisima, la comida deliciosa, el Sushi flameado Ebi Aburi de lo más rico, vengo a Vancouver una vez al año y siempre vamos a Miku, nos gusta mucho.
Excellent sushi. This time my friend and I chose the Traditional Sushi lunch dish which includes miso soup and 10 pieces, including nigiri and maki. Good location with waterfront views. Excellent service - our waiter was knowledgeable and listened to our questions and preferences.
The only downside is the noise level. We were there for a 12noon lunch mid-week - at the beginning we could manage a conversation without raising our voices. Within a half hour the restaurant was full and the noise was at a high level. We had to shout to hear each other.
Otherwise this restaurant has good vibe and a high energy level from all staff and guests add to the mood.
Miku has great creative sushi served by knowledgeable staff who are very friendly and not in a hurry. Also they have a specialized sake sommelier who is a prodigy!!! The fixed menu with the sake pairing is out of this world good!!! Go there.
Great time, amazing food. Would come back again
Strongly recommend to try out the Salmon Oshi Sushi, it is unique and super tasty!
We ordered Winter Premium Zen $42, which the Salmon Oshi Sushi and baked saikyo miso sablefish tasted really good, a Traditional Zen Box and 6 Salmon Oshi Sushi (so delicious so we decided to order it again). The dessert is average though, the combination of sourness and sweetness doesn't go well with each other.
It was a bit pricey but again, having the salmon oshi sushi alone is worth it.
Extremely good service everyand Thomas is a really concerning Waiter. Food are always fresh and delicious as standard. Love to recommend friends.
Food was phenomenal!! Will go back to Vancouver just to eat here again!!
All the food was great and our server Phil, from Portugal, was super kind and helpful! It was great having him as our server. All recommendations and choices were delicious :)
We went to Miku for a lunch date and it was a very great meal! We shared the Winter Premium Zen box as well as a Premium sushi plate and every single item was delicious. Our server was very attentive and made great suggestions for us as well.
As always. This place was delicious. I'll always come back as long as they remain consistent. Service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was quite busy. All is forgiven.
Miku was a highlight of our recent trip to Vancouver. We cannot wait until we are able to dine there again. The food was amazing. Simply the best Sushi I have ever had. It was food art at its best. The service, view, food and atmosphere were amazing. Staff were attentive, informative but not overbearing. The dessert was fantastic and a must to complete your dining experience.
Jason provided attentive and excellent service and gave helpful direction on menu items.
We ordered tofu salad, fried brussel sprouts, beef carpaccio, salmon oshi sushi, sablefish, mussels, sashimi, and finished with matcha green tea opera cake. Everything was delicious! My taste buds were dancing all night. Surprise hit: the brussel sprout chips - they weren't crunchy like chips, but they were lip smackingly good - zesty, flavorful with a kick of chili. Yum. Great service from both the hostess (sorry, I didn't get her name) and our server Shu. Extremely busy but well run restaurant with excellent staff. Highly recommend for special occasions.
Food was amazing and we go back in a flash very enjoyable and unique food and make sure to have reservations
