We had a reservation at 615. We arrived early and waited in the bar and had a drink. The bar tender was extremely friendly and offered a taster of the wine I haven’t tried before. We were brought to the table by the hostess who was also very friendly. We were sat in a booth as requested. I don’t remember our servers name but she was absolutely lovely. Lots of smiles, easy conversation and recommended the best appetizers and entrees. The food is simply amazing. We had the Shrimp Wham Bam for an appetizer and I had the Crispy chicken chilli bowl, husband had the Brie and mushroom burger. This was our second visit here and again we received amazing service and food. I used to work in the restaurant industry myself as a hostess at The Keg for a couple years and I was so impressed with how the staff seemed so helpful to each other! A random server saw our drinks were getting low after he had dropped off food at a close by table and he offered us refills. Another server saw our empty plates and cleared them off the table. Great teamwork here! Thank you all for a great night out! We will definitely return.
Myself and one other person attend had the rustic chicken sandwhich it was terrible. The smallest piece of wet, rubbery chicken, the mayo was non existent and the bread was so dry. Others had different meals and only one person out of 6 enjoyed their meal. For the price it was extremely disappointing. We also felt rushed out towards the end of our visit which is a huge turn off.
Our server was great. The food was good, albeit a little overpriced. It would be great if there was a better selection of vegetarian options, as well as keto-friendly options.
Our server Andre was amazing. Very knowledgeable and has a great memory.
Normally the service is exceptional, however this time around, service was very slow. There were a few people waiting for their bill and their food and looked quite annoyed. Sadly we had the same experience. The food was great and we had a great time. May have been a one off! Still and enjoyable visit.
Happy with the food, happy with the service. Thanks.
The waitress was excellent Very engaging and pleasant.
Everything was just perfect. If I have one feedback, it will be that the music was way too loud. We could not hear our waiter and need to speak very loud to each other to understand what we were saying. Not really a romantic dinner.
Great service. Very friendly. Food was very good. Four of us. Each had something different. All good.
We really enjoyed our evening out for our 22 wedding anniversary!!
Extremely slow service and it was very quiet. Not sure how they manage when the restaurant is busy
We were a party of eight celebrating birthday. Our server Andre was great: helpful, smiling and really hardworking. Thank you Andre.
Never disappointed with Whitby Milestone. Great food, friendly staff and ideal before/after the show
We arrived and were greeted by a friendly hostess. Our waiter Alex (?) did a really good job. He was knowledgeable, funny and friendly and was able to handle our large group with ease.
Overall a very good experience.
I made reservations at the Milestones Whitby location on a Sunday night. Having been there before on a few occasions, it seemed like a fairly safe bet as a casual restaurant with an equally easy going menu for my retirement aged parents and late teenaged kids. I was a little disappointed on the table arrangement when we were escorted in; I had made the reservations days in advance for only six people but was met with three separate tables for two pushed together, which I'm normally fine with but there were two square tables and one round table creating an awkward dynamic. It reminded me of a holiday dinner at my grandparents house, using any furniture available that could be transformed into a table or seating. To their credit, the tables were properly set and were very clean. The ambiance was rustic modern, having many interesting lighting treatments to look at and plenty of dark wood finishes. The lighting was comfortably dim providing a sense of privacy but not so low that reading the menu would have been difficult. The noise level was at a respectable level, the dining room seemed to be almost full for the most part so the acoustics are well set. I do like the fact that there aren't any tv monitors in the dining area; if I wanted to watch sports, I'd go to a sport's bar or stay home. The menu wasn't overly complicated, having a fairly nice selection within each category. The pricing of the entree's was inline with the quality of the food however, I felt that the starters were overpriced as the descriptions of each said they were suitable for two people. I've been to many comparable restaurants in downtown Toronto where the "sharables" were suited for four or five diners for the same rate. I personally had the Thai Red Curry Bowl- the presentation was impressive; vibrant vegetables cooked al dente (as they should be) but I found that it lacked spice for a Thai dish and the curry flavor was weak. The chicken, however, was juicy and proportioned well. 3.2/5
Love the food however the restaurant lacks the ambiance the The Keg has. This restaurant is very open concept with low walls on the booths so it can get quite noisy.
Also there were quite a few flies buzzing around. They did replace my drink when I noticed a fly had drowned in it
Our server was fantastic.
So friendly and attentive. Loved the whole experience.
That was our first time at Milestones, but definitely not our last.
Oh, and the food was wonderful. Enjoyed every bite.
Great food in a nice atmosphere. Very friendly wait staff. Nice touch with the free desert (9.95 value) for birthday guest.
Husband had the seafood pasta asi did also. No mention that it was spicy , my husband can not eat any hot spicy food . The menu should clarify that he had to send it back. The waitress asked the chef said he uses chili flakes in it . Waitress was great and seated right away. No waiting. Only problem was meal
Food excellent, service was very good and attentive. Expensive wine...
excellent food, alot for your money. wait staff excellent
We went to celebrate my son's high school graduation on Friday evening. They had a live singer which I didn't realize which was a little loud for our gathering. The food was very good but our drinks weren't always attended to as we waited quite a while between courses. Overall, I would go back.
The food was great and the server was very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
It was my son's birthday and we enjoyed a lovely lunch. The food was excellent and the server friendly and helpful. A good experience. I'll go back again.
Service was beyond fantastic and the food was fabulous.
However, I thought the $3.75 charge for one Red Rose tea bag to be quite excessive!!
Our waitress was wonderful and the food was great....shrimp appetizer was a bit spicy but excellent!!
We were about 5 min late for our reservation but the staff kept the table for us. We appreciated that and only had to wait about an extra 5 min as they readied our table.
Had been to this Milestones several times, though not for over a year. I always felt it was a step up from the usual restaraunt chains. Disappointed with this visit...menu seems to have decreased it's options, and unfortunately, both the food quality and presentation was a let-down.
Father’s Day dinner.
Father’s Day celebration. Our waiter made the meal special.
Overall the service was good. however at the start of our meal we ordered a Beer and it took almost 20 minutes to get it. I am not sure if this is the fault of our waitress because she was amazing after that point. Perhaps something happened or she got caught doing something else. 20 minutes is just a little to long to have to wait for drinks.
The music was way too loud for 11am and it took a very long time for the food. While I understand it was Father’s Day I think on special occasions the kitchen staffing should hopefully meet the anticipated customer demand vs a regular quiet morning.
Our food was delicious but it took over an hour to receive it .
Our waitress was excellent and the food was delicious.
Went for a graduation celebration lunch. All was pretty great, except the early 2000s style dance music that played and was much too loud for the atmosphere of your establishment.
Enjoyable experience with respect to food, service and value for money. We chose to eat indoors even though the weather was nice due to the noise level from 401. Even though the restaurant was less than half full inside, the noise level made it difficult to have a quiet conversation. I believe this is due to the openness of the room and the fact that there is no sound absorption material on the ceiling - a problem with exposed ductwork architecture. Otherwise an excellent experience and a recommended destination.
Always really enjoy my meal at the Whitby Milestones. Try and book here as often as possible for family get togethers or pre-movie date nights with my boyfriend. Our waitress was so helpful and a joy. There were four of us that had dinner, with two appetizers and two cocktails. Everything was fantastic and i would recommend to anyone
Waited for 20 minutes. The restaurant was nearly empty and nobody bothered to come seat us!
Family birthday dinner
Milestones is a family favourite although since remodel we won’t sit in certain sections - you end up yelling through the meal. Andre is pretty much always our server and always great!
Was not impressed because we made reservations and when the 2nd part of our party came the reservation was not on the computer so we had to stand up and wave across the whole restaurant to get their attention so they would know where we were seated as no one was helping them. The waitress took forever to bring drinks and food. Reservations were for 6:30 and got out of there at 10:30 because of slow service.
