The perfect place for a before concert meal and drinks. Just a very short walk to Scotiabank Arena. Very nice patio experience providing that you're okay with traffic noise but the high planters cut the noise somewhat and provide excellent privacy from pedestrians. Excellent, friendly and efficient service and delicious food. Decent beer list and quite good wine list. This will be our go to going forward.

Some of the appetizers could have been meals, for example, the Cobb salad and a beer would have been plenty but I’m glad I also had the opportunity to try the Tavern burger! Six of us ate and six of us left full and happy. It was a great pre-concert experience!

Our steaks were both overcooked and it took another 30 minutes before we received properly cooked ones. In the meantime, our baked potatoes got cold while we were waiting. It was a disappointing experience.

There were a few issues with the dinner. The bottle of red wine we ordered was warm, not slightly below room temperature. It took 1hr 15mins to receive our meals, and they arrived lukewarm, as if they had been sitting under the heating lamps. I ordered "moules frites" expecting thin french fries but they were potato wedges/crisps, again barely warm. A definite letdown/misnomer.

We had a pathetic experience and had to walk out in the middle of our dinner because of the service. Our server was constantly messing things up. I noticed she wasn’t taking any notes and that the 2 tables next to us were frustrated with her service as well.It started of with the drinks that took forever to arrive only because we followed up with the manager as she was nowhere to be found. Later on, we ordered the main course- salmon for myself and burger for my hubby along with another glass of beer for him. The beer didn’t show up to the extent he decided to cancel it. Later on which was around 30 mins after we’d placed the order, the food arrived and she got chicken instead of the burger. We were so upset and hungry and end up asking for cheque. As manager was aware of our situation he asked us not to pay however, we were very disappointed with the service as we’ve been to this restaurant a few times and never experienced anything like this before. There food is really good. Very unfortunate!

Food was good, too bad the service was horrible. Waited forever to get the bill and to pay almost missed our show. Finally went up to the front desk to pay, had to wait for the attendant to come then got ignored, even though I was the next person in line because a friend of his was standing behind me and apparently was more important and needed to be seated first.

I would have given a 5 star rating if your restaurant had air conditioning. Had a business lunch with work colleagues as a thank you for their hard work. It was too humid to eat outside and unfortunately it was hot inside as well. We could not feel any air conditioning even though your host told us it was on . Speaking to different employees, apparently the air conditioning has not been working for months. I feel this is very unfortunate for your employees due to the hot and humid weather we have been having in Toronto. We really enjoyed the steak frites, but I would not consider coming back during the hot weather days - as it is uncomfortable to be hot and sweaty while trying to enjoy lunch. Hopefully you can get your air conditioning fixed. For now I could not recommend coming to your restaurant unless they enjoy a warm environment.

Went to dinner with friends and all of us enjoyed our choices ( burger/ chicken/ seafood/ French onion soup). All food was fresh and tasty. Server was very good as well.

Had the Chicken, if I'm to be honest Swiss Chalet is better :). The skin was moist and chewy, meat was meh and flavorless (perhaps a Brine of some sort would help with this, especially at $36 for a 1/2 chicken). Charcuterie board was okay, prosciutto cut way to thick. Beef Tartar was not good for the price, expectations at that price point ($21) is something similar to Cote De Boeuf ($25), or Auberge ($24). Service was okay, but for the money spent would expect way more than received. Your location on Yonge is better, but beginning to see a trend in this industry where we/consumers are paying more for diminished quality and it is impacting our overall experience.

Steak Frites came with no salt on it. Problem was my guests lets to get back to work as our meals were done at 12:45pm. Server didn't come by to check in so I can ask for cheque till 1:10pm. Took another 6 mins to come back with bill and CC machine. Unacceptable as I was late for my next appointment. My server was MIA and couldnt find him for 20+ mins.

My husband and I went out for dinner on Saturday evening - this was our first Summerlicious ever. The menu offered us just enough choices to give variety but make it simple to order. The food was absolutely amazing. What a fantastic chef. Portion sizes were just right. The servers were all very helpful and efficient. We sat on the patio which was nice but a little noisy. We were initially sat right under the speakers, but moved one table over and the noise level was much better. Thank you for a great night out.

We started with the focaccia, which was light as a cloud inside with a delicate crust on top. Our party had the mushroom risotto, steak tartar, short rib bourguignon and the bavette cut steak…not one off note at the table. Portions were hearty, service both friendly and efficient. If I lived in Toronto, it would definitely be on my list.
