Our staff interaction over both the food and wine menus was interesting and enjoyable. Southern Fried Chicken was a great dish AND a great value. Both my wife and I took leftovers home for lunch the next day.

Had dinner with friends. The 4 of us were seated in a very secluded, almost private, room with 3 tables only. Sounds great on the paper but the room temperature was probably 80°, it was stuffy and awkwardly quiet. Would’ve been better for a different type of crowd, we were probably not a good fit for such quiet atmosphere. Food was amazing as always. Service was prompt and courteous. Would’ve been perfect if only we had a better location. Either way, we plan to visit again as Miltons is one of our favorite restaurants.

Ashley is the best server. She remembered my allergies from months ago and is personable and intuitive. Milton’s has a GEM of an employee in her. And of course the food is outstanding - I don’t know why we ever go anywhere else!

A 6 person party was near us for most of our dinner. They were EXTREMELY loud the entire time. Put a damper on our dinner as we had a hard time hearing each other.

Great place. Great Service. Will go back but will not order a steak again. Not a steak house but wife had a super fish diner.

Didn’t like being seated by the kitchen and severs constantly going back an forth. Had a 5:30pm reservation and it was fairly empty. You would think they wouldn’t sit us in the corner.

Normally I would give Milton’s a 5 star review. This time, though, after making our reservation through Open Table and getting our confirmation from them with a full menu attached, we were surprised to be presented with special Valentine’s Day fixed price menu on Saturday the 15th. We had been telling our friends for over a year what a great and varied menu Milton’s has, and they had gone to Milton’s website to check out the menu, so we were disappointed that we couldn’t choose the things we really wanted, and had to pay for appetizers and dessert when we normally would just have ordered steak and a side. None of saw any mention of the special menu on their website or anything from Open Table. The food, of course, was excellent-we just weren’t expecting to not be able to choose exactly what we wanted.

Not for special holidays when they have a hidden fixed priced menu...Food was terrible and way over priced..They even changed the martini glasses ,put out small ones for $15.00 per ,plus Tax and Tip...They took the $75 off my bill because my fish had a weird taste and smell...Not the point the night was ruined...We will give Milton's a rest, plenty of other places to go here..

My wife and I went for our Valentine’s Day dinner, and of course, Milton’s did not disappoint! The food, atmosphere, and service were amazing as always. Even though it was a fixed menu, the options were great, and we loved our date night. Milton’s will continue to be one of our go-to places!

I usually love this restaurant but we made the mistake of eating there on Valentine's Day weekend when there was a prefix menu. My meal was terrible from the appetizer to the dessert. My husband's main meal was good, thank goodness he was willing to share. Overall now worth the $75 a person for the meal. I'm so sad because we rarely get to go out alone and it was completely disappointing.

We have been to Milton’s several times and the experience have always been great.
The dining room felt packed. They had clearly added extra tables wherever they could which led to congestion and an uncomfortable feeling.
The menu was a fixed price 3 course for Valentine’s Day which was not advertised on open table and only made know after being sat at the table.
Our table was clearly an after thought and/ or added table because it was so wobbly and off balance. It was not a simple fix on the floor like packs of sugar under one leg of table. The table was not stable where it connects to the verticals pole and the table top.
We ordered the lobster bisque and the meatball appetizer.
The soup was average. The meatballs were dry and had clearly been prepared and sitting around for a while.
For the main course we ordered the wasabi salmon and the grouper entree. Both looked appealing but were very salty and salty...... Way too salty.
Overall it just feels like they were more worried about how many people they could pack in and move through for Valentine’s Day and they sold out and disappointed their loyal patrons.
We loved Milton’s but will definitely think twice before going there again.
The Valets were great!

My fiance and I went to Miltons for the first time last month and loved it so much. I had to make reservations for us for Valentine's Day. We arrived early, and were seated in a section of the restaurant (back porch) that was freezing! I noticed that we did not get orders of bread as other tables did and our waiter was not very prompt. We also had to choose from a set menu. I did not like my appetizer and my dessert was 'ok'. The only great thing was my steak, which is the most important part of the dinner, which is why I am rating this two stars. All in all, the cost of this with two cocktails a piece with tip was nearly $300. We will NEVER come back here for Valentines Day again and it will be a long time before we come back here on an ordinary day. Very sorry about the review, but, we were really looking forward to this and it just 'fair'.

I've been a regular diner here for quite some time. Lately, I've had some experiences that left me wondering if Milton's needs to decide between being a fine dining restaurant or the local party place. Last night some tables opened up on Open Table so we decided to go versus some other available options in the area. We were seated on the "porch" with two parties of 12 as well as two other four tops. The noise level was just ridiculous from the two large parties. I felt like I was in a German beer hall or a school lunchroom with 24 people all trying to make themselves heard. We couldn't hear the servers nor the manager when they came by to speak to us. The manager was apologetic but kept telling me this was the only available table. I pointed out that the hostess should warned us and let us make the decision to sit there, which we wouldn't have done knowing what was coming. When I said this, the woman next to me leaned over and said "we're going to sit wherever he decides to sit" with the obvious sentiment that they were not enjoying the noise level either. As we were leaving, the manager offered to comp our dinner which we declined and added notes to our Open Table record about our seating preference. I appreciate the gesture but this was the third straight experience with noisy partiers in what has been a establishment with good food and a nice atmosphere. I think they need to realize that mixing banquet size groups with couples trying to enjoy an evening out doesn't work. Either limit the party size or figure out how to isolate them or you're going to lose customers. I'm going to wait until the weather warms up and sit on the patio next time. The noise level there is quite reasonable.
On a positive note, the Mobile Bay oysters with house-made sauces were excellent. I would skip the Bearnaise sauce. When we pointed out that the sauce was cold, we found out that they serve it at room temperature which is not good on a steak IMHO. We'll try them again in the spring.

We were seated in the little room outside the bar and it was cold. The heater they brought didn’t help. Otherwise it was fine.

UPDATE:

Lance, the general manager reached out after our last experience. He shared his concern about my bad experience. Again, my experience was challenging but others in my party were fine. Nonetheless, he invited us back and we took him up on his offer. The service from the parking lot attendant Rich, to the bartender Ben, our server Victoria and overseen by Sheila and GM Lance of course was exceptional. The food, spectacular, my prime ribeye steak, amazing. And my wife had the pistachio crusted lamb chops—they were to die for.

They have truly earned a customer for life! Thank you Milton’s Cuisine!

Frankly, Milton’s TOTALLY gets customer service. They have earned a “customer for life”.

Thanks to Lance and his amazing staff

I took my wife to Milton's for date night and found it to be a nice experience. Honestly, the food it serves has become the typical upscale menu that you can find all over Atlanta theses days. Nothing really excited me or my wife but it was all well prepared and presented. I'd kind of compare it to the 80s when potato skins, cobb salads and coconut shrimp were all the rage. Just replace with deviled eggs, lobster dip and shrimp & grits. That said, as a first visit I would recommend it as a great spot to try. The restaurant is venerable and a neighborhood icon and will flourish for years to come. Why change if your popular I say! Overall it was a good job.
