    What an absolutely fabulous place! Had some business colleagues in from out of town who wanted to experience something unique and did Minami ever deliver! Food was exceptional, service was first class, couldn't ask for better.

    The sushi we had wasn’t bad. It was different from what I usually eat and wasn’t my favorite. We had nigiri sushi that was very good. Service and ambiance were great.

    My friend highly suggested this restaurant. All staff is very nice and friendly but the dishes could be better and some fly in the dining table so I did not really enjoy when I was eating. I just want to be quick to finish and leave. Please improve the hygiene.

    The best sushi in Vancouver. The unagi is the best I've had anywhere. Our server was Adin. Super friendly and gave use some great recommendations to try. Glad we took his advice

    Our experience at Minami was absolutely amazing. Our server Adrianne was incredibly hospitable, kind and professional. The food was also fantastic! We will definitely come back.

    All the food was absolutely delicious. Tried the squid small plate for the first time and it was perfect, 10/10 would go back just for that dish. We went out with a friend who was visiting Vancouver for the first time, so obviously had to grab the oshi sampler. Although salmon was our favorite, everything was exceptional.

    Went back to have the Salmon Oshi again, undoubtedly the best sushi restaurant in Vancouver for that experience. The service was excellent, very kind and knowledgeable staff with great recommendations.

    Not the standard we expected, has definitely gone down from before. Food is same great stuff, but service was inattentive and sloppy. needed to repeatedly ask staff to clear used plates from our table, and our waiter seemed to have disappeared for some time, leaving us waiting for our wine. Overall disappointing considering how much it costs.

    We got the sashimi. It was extremely fresh, and was delicious, however was not nearly enough food for one person. So for the price, I wouldn’t say it was worth it as there are other places that give better quantity for the same freshness of fish.

    We come here every time we visit Vancouver . The food is exceptional and service is great. Lindsay who was our waitress this last time was a great host and made spot on , delicious recommendations from the menu! All in all was a superb dinner !!

    This is by far the best place I have been to in Vancouver. The service, atmosphere and food is nothing short of exceptional and the staff went above and beyond to provide us with an incredible and memorable evening. I cannot recommend this place enough!

    The manager that was prepping the plating for one of the dishes to me and my boyfriend, when he placed the plate down to be served, one of the pieces of katsu fell onto the table and I witnessed that the server had her back facing us, and with chopsticks, the manager put the piece that dropped onto the serving table back on to my plate. (As if I had not noticed what had happened). I told my server right away, and she apologized on behalf of the manager, however the manager did not even approach us with an apology. The old dish was sent to the kitchen, and they made a new one for us. However, I have never had this type of service of negligence from Miku and not sure if I will come back to Minami. I hope this does not continue with other guests, as if I did not witness it, they would have served the contaminated food intentionally, without us knowing. Overall, food was as per our usual visits to the Aburi restaurants, I was a bit more hesitant about eating the food, as the first plate that was brought to us was the one that was sent back to the kitchen.
