We, 4 of us, went to Miradoro for lunch yesterday. They were having a mussels and fries special promotion. We had a great lunch, and the mussels were the best I have ever tasted. One of our party doesn't care for mussels, so chose the daily special pizza. She said it was excellent. We are locals, so usually enjoy the winery restaurants in the off season

We went to Miradoro for their annual mussel dinner, which, by the way is always fantastic but this year they out did themselves! There were four of us and we had a later reservation. We all wanted the mussels in the white wine sauce but unfortunately, our server had to inform us they were all out of that particular sauce (there were two others to choose from) so we needed more to time to make an alternate choice but did ask our server if there was anyway the chef could make another batch of the sauce. There may even had been a tear or two running down the cheeks on our puppy dog faces thrown in for good measure. Our server said she would give it a try. She soon returned with the great news that yes, chef would make more! It was soooo good especially knowing the staff were all probably tired by that time of the evening but went that extra mile (or 10) to make our evening an awesome experience. You did not disappoint! Thank you to chef and all the staff at Miradoro!

We stopped by for an early dinner (4pm) and were not disappointed. Had the restaurant all to ourselves. Started off with a lovely wine (Rousanne for me & Cab Franc for my hubby) served with the warmed olives. We split the North Okanagan butter lettuce salad - delicious. I ordered the Margherita pizza extra crisp with a side order of olive oil for dopping and hubby had the Funghi pizza. Melissa our server was lovely. Can hardly wait to return to this Mediterranean inspired menu, as there are so many more menu items to try. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The venue is stunning, the service was good, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. Overcooked pork chop (at 30+$ you'd expect much better), undercooked squash in an otherwise very interesting take on panzanella, clam/chorizo dish that was also overcooked and bland in flavor. Very surprised at the poor execution considering that we were 1 of 2 tables the entire evening we were there... felt like the kitchen mailed it in, which is not ok at such a high price point meal. Would only go back for a snack to take in the incredible view.

When we set out we didn’t realize we were going for pizza but that’s what we had and it was every bit a good as the pizza in Italy. This pliable crust without all the North American toppings! DElicious. And the butter lettuce salad we had as a starter was perfect. We’re new to the Oliver area and are already looking forward to our next visit to Miradoro to try some of the other things on the menu. If they’re as good as the pizza we’ll be going back again and again.

Two of my party ordered the flank steak. Both of us had intestinal issues that night, and into Saturday. Cannot think of any other reason for it other than we both had the same meal. The weather was so nice that we sat out on the patio and watched the sun go down and the lights come on. The view is spectacular and the service was, as always, excellent. A lovely way to have Thanksgiving dinner!

We thoroughly enjoyed our whole experience at Mirador, Tinhorn Winery! The staff were friendly and attentive, and sat us early, when we arrived. The view of the Black Sage Bench, southern Okanagan Valley, is amazing! Everything we ate was very delicious, especially the charcuterie assortment, and the wines were very good! We will definitely return!

Excellent food, beautiful setting, great waiter, bad management. Arrived at reserved time. Restaurant was understaffed and no one greeted any of those waiting at the entry. Busy waitstaff studiously avoided "seeing" us. Understandable. After waiting unacknowledged for 15+ minutes we were seated. The busy waitress came quickly and was excellent. If the staff can't keep up, the inflow needs to be managed.

We had staff call in sick at the last minute and rather than close the restaurant we chose to the honour the reservations we already had so as to not inconvenience our cherished guests on a holiday weekend. We are sorry if this led to a pause at the reception but are glad that you were still able to join us and enjoy your experience. We hope to host you again in the future.
