We did the Tinhorn Creek tasting and then had dinner at this restaurant…. Highly recommend….. it has a very pretty view as well!
It was my birthday and was seated next to a very loud table with children as well as a stroller far closer than 6 feet to our table. We let the screaming go and waited for our meal. Then almost after we were served we had a table of 10 with 5 out of control children seated behind us. The parents did not stop the constant scream and banging of cutlery. We recognize that this is not the fault of tinhorn but mentioning the noise to the server resulted in a dirty look and dismissal. The view was unreal but I cannot say we will return after the combination of events. Much respect to the tinhorn team but a little more understanding for patience might be in the cards.
Dinner was excellent and our waiter was informative pleasant and helpful. The view was unbelievably beautiful. This was not my first time there but each time has been lovely.
Miradoro never disappoints!! We love going there!
Lovely location; prompt efficient and friendly service; great menu options and good value. When it is busy, though, it can be very noisy.
We called to say we were going to be late and they were very understanding. Service was a bit slow but the place was full at 2pm! Our server, Samantha, was great. The food was really good WHEN IT FINALLY GOT HERE. Took over an hour to get our food. One of our group is gluten intolerant so it would have been nice to have that as an option considering most menu items consist of sandwiches, pizza and pasta. Overall we enjoyed our meal but the slow kitchen service was quite disappointing.
We went because we heard the pizza was outstanding, and it was! Great service. Good value. Good view. Will make this a regular stop in the future
We celebrated our anniversary and had a great time and the meal was so flavourful and great. Thanks so much
Excellent from start to finish. Welcoming, professional service with pleasant sharing of the ingredients and preparation too. Wine suggestions were much appreciated as they paired very well with our entree & kale Caesar salad!
Great ambiance, service was outstanding but price for value was high. Would go again and recommend this place
Delicious lunch - can't wait to go back! The Crab and Burrata were stand outs!
Great views from the patio, best dinghies pizza I have had, loved the charred eggplant, sweet corn, heirloom tomato and banana pepper soup and the dessert was great. Great paring of wine with our pizzas!!!
Wrong food brought, correct one burned. No accommodation on charges
Just a great time, amazing views and loved the food.
Not great value fir high price
Pizza burned and spaghetti dry
Wine was good
All in all a very good experience once again. Our server was absolutely
Fabulous lunch, the wild salmon is extremely good. We will definitely be back.
We had the best table service in recent memory. There were lots of staff and our server was exceptional. Food was lovely and the view very beautiful.
Likely too many tables on patio - pretty close together
We visited Miradora in the day after the cancelled Half Corked Marathon. We had a wine tasting at Tinhorn Creek and followed with a light lunch at Mirador. We shared a Diablo Pizza which was just right for the two of us. Although the menu stated the pizza was quite spicy we thought that it was on the medium/mild spectrum. We also shared a half litre of the Tinhorn Merlot which went well with the pizza.
Can't beat the view. The wine was excellent! We will be back again!
Service was good, the food was ok. Was a bit disappointed on my salmon dinner, a bit overcooked and the salad was not so good, way too much basil. Our server was great
Server was very good, personable and efficient. Lovely location. Sat outside. Our table of four chose appetizers of meatballs, clams and soup. All delicious. Main courses consumed were the pork chop, orchiette, salmon with various wines. Generous portioning for appetizers and mains. No scraps left on our plates. Well prepared and tasty food. Too full to try dessert. May have been tempted had there been lemon tart! Had a lovely meal. Recommend.
Nice view, great tasting food. Wime good. Would go back.
Beautiful views! Great atmosphere and service! The food and wine were some of the south Okanagans best!
Simple menu of excellent Italian style food. Unique and delicious though somewhat limited. Well matched to their wine selection.
Great waitress, amazing views, but disappointed with steak as it was medium rare - not medium as requested and the price point was high.
Flavorful and beautifully presented cuisine. Atmosphere was lovely and service was excellent. would go again.
Very busy place. No wonder food is awesome. Service was right on! Raina was a great personable waitress!! Of course great wine selection.
Lovely location with great views and ambience. Of course the wine was noteworthy. Well worth a visit.
Great food, fabulous service and the setting cannot be beat!
Exceptional restaurant both for food and service. The view from the patio is awesome. A great place for a date night or a quiet meal
I had the spaghetti carbanaro and my wife had the grilled salmon and both were exceptional.
Have eaten here a few times. We were on our way through and decided to stop. Had a reservation on the patio and the view is spectacular. We ordered a couple of cocktails to start and they were great! My husband had the salmon salad for his entree and I had the soup and kale Caesar salad. We felt that the prices were pretty high for what we received. On another note I am gluten free and our server did not comment on anything that could be prepared gluten free which was the reason for soup and salad. There are not many items on the menu for those of us that have dietary restrictions. Definitely the view comes with a price!!
Kale salad was fantastic, my pork dish was good but just ok, and my wife’s Ragu was also good, just not a wow dish. Don’t read this as a negative just saying the entrees need to be raised up to be that dish that brings you back. Service was wonderful as well as the view. We would return but probably get the kale salad and the great looking pizza. Thanks in this Covid time for providing such a lovely evening
Thoroughly enjoyed our return to Miradoro after a year of self imposed restraint. The meatball sandwich was as great as ever and the clams with chorizo starter was very good. Welcome and service was excellent. Thanks to all the staff for making our visit a great experience.
Gorgeous view and amazing food and wine. The service was too notch.
So disappointing…..Miradoro has always been our go to restaurant for a special occasion. Last nights dinner was very much less than special. My husbands order of spaghetti carbonara arrived in one large lump of glue….the whole thing was picked up with his fork….in addition, it lacked any flavour. We should have sent it back but I choose not to as I did not want to put any kind of “uncomfortableness” into our evening wit our friends. Instead I shared my dinner with him. I should note that the maître d as well as our server were very good. My overall thoughts this morning of our experience was that we had a very expensive evening for a non stellar dinner.
Dear AlanF, Thank you for your reservation and comments. We offer our sincere apologies that the carbonara was not to your liking after many great visits to us in the past. It's disappointing for us to know this after the fact as we would have been only too happy to have remade it with no fuss. We've passed on your comments to our Executive Chef and we hope you give us another visit in the future for redemption. Kind Regards, Sam Lymbery General Manager
Four of us had dinner and everything was just delightful from the time we were seated til we finished our dinner. Food, service and ambiance were A+!! Definitely coming back!!
Enjoyed our venue. The food delicious and presented well. Service was enjoyable. Views were great sitting outside.
