Great food, we had a couple of starters, the clams and chorizo and grilled octopus they were fantastic. Main course risotto and chicken, perfect. The wine is reasonable pricing for restaurant. Our server Anna, complemented the evening. Always a must stop when in the area.
Everything about our visit was outstanding -- as always --- I love this restaurant and always look forward to the dining experience -- one of the things I like the most is how classy, yet unpretentious, it is!
We went to Tin Horn Creek for our wedding anniversary, and had a really nice, quiet dinner. Excellent food. We would go back.
Food wasn’t anything amazing. The athmosphere and view were really cool, but that’s really all it had going for it. Overall I didn’t see the value. Nice to have been, but I sure wouldn’t do it again.
We had a delicious lunch at Miradoro and the scenic views can’t be beat. Service was quick and efficient and our server took the time to explain different menu options. The pasta with heirloom tomatoes was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Sitting on the patio and sipping Tinhorn Creek wine while sampling their fine food made for a perfect afternoon. Efficient service, an innovative menu and great ambience. Thanks.
Outside seating only with a view of the lake. Great tasting food at excellent pricing. Reservations suggested since seating is limited.
Amazing service. Delicious food. Wine flights expertly curated and spot on.
Made a later than norm dinner reservation for 730pm. Was surprised to be seated at a table on the balcony. Once seated we noted it was the only one available - so perfect timing. As we visit Miradoro yearly we have come to expect fine food and great service - we were not let down. We ordered a glass of wine and individual pizzas. A lovely evening. We will be returning to the Osoyoos/Oliver area over the Thanksgiving weekend. As always, thank you for a wonderful dinner/evening.
Food was OK but over priced for what it was and service was not good at all. Our server was not knowledgeable and we felt rushed as they probably wanted to go home early
The restaurant is very nice. The atmosphere was busy. Food was gerat, however I ordered the chicken and there was very little of it and half of it was cooked dry, the taste and presentation were great. We also had the burrata which was great. The view is very busy but once it gets dark its better
Very tasty. Relaxed atmosphere. A lovely experience. The blue corn polenta and the chicken was awesome. Their gelato so delicious. You can taste the quality and pride taken in making the food.
Miradoro has been the restaurant to beat in the South Okanagan for several years now. I organize my travel in the region, business or pleasure, to put me there for lunch or dinner if at all possible. Local ingredients exquisitely prepared and served with a thoughtful selection of BC wines.
This trip included two grandsons, 11 and 13, who ate everything put in front of them including, surprisingly, the kale salad.
Great service, attentive, both had fish, one Salmon, one Halibut. Halibut on the verge of Raw and Super salty. Salmon was better but again under cooked for my taste. But in defence of the restaurant we didn’t send back or complain at the time, so I am sure they would of tried to throw it back on the grill. But we were half way through dinner and it was not bad just not great and it was only after the first few bites we noticed. Too bad, good drinks great atmosphere, service was good, we have been before and had the Pizza and when we go back, we will stick to it and one of the Appys.
Enjoyed the food...there were 10 of us in our party...general consensus: too salty....otherwise great flavour...I had the venison pasta...and tried the halibut...
The serving staff were very accommodating! Loved the outside venue facing east :-)
Consistently great!! Especially love the wine pairings with the food.
Tried this out while visiting Osoyoos recently as we had not been here before. The view from the patio would have been excellent except for the heavy smoke in the area due to fires. The grounds are beautiful. The service was very good and our food tasted excellent. They have a number of interesting items on the menu if you are looking for some unusual selections. Portions were not overly large but right size for us. They offer a 3 x 3oz sampler of wine which worked well for me to try various wines. Overall it was quite nice.
Beautiful setting and view! My wife's salmon was cold so it had to be sent back and another meal prepared. Unfortunately this meant by the time hers came back mine was cold. Her salmon was just OK, my halibut was overly salty, overpowering all other flavours. Sometimes someone's idea of fine cuisine just isn't. No excuse for cold food however. Not enough wait staff the evening we were there. We may give them another chance but the quality/price ratio is not favourable.
Beautiful setting, at the top of the hill looking down over the rows of grapevines. Great servers, very attentive, consistently refilling water and brought a different meal for our son when he did not like his pasta. The food overall was not great. The steak was average - not much flavor for a ribeye, which should be beautifully flavored.
We were in Oliver for 2 days and we wanted to try your restaurant again. We had been to your restaurant several years ago. We were with our son and two grandchildren. You made us feel welcome and produced a meal that was very memorable.
After this most recent visit you reconfirmed why we were so looking forward to try you food and service again. It was simply sensational. We will be back the next time we are in Oliver. Thank you for a great dining experience.
The food and service was perfect.
Our reception by the hostess was prompt and pleasant.
The staff serving us were professional and checked on us frequently.
It was a pleasure.
Miradoro is one of our go to restaurants in the area and never disappoints.
Looking forward to our next visit.
Food and service great. Family friendly. Children’s menu adults can enjoy delicious creations
We had a lovely birthday dinner with the best table on the patio overlooking the valley.
Our second visit here. Missed the view this time due to the forest fire smoke in BC... but the food was still excellent.
We were visiting the area for a family holiday. Beautiful setting and the food was very good. Charcuterie plate was lovely and lamb was delicious. We appreciated the children’s’ menu for our younger daughter. Both the host and the server seemed to be too busy to spend adequate time with each table but our waters were never empty thanks to the support staff. The server was pleasant and as attentive as possible. The biggest disappointment was that our 2 chosen desserts were sold out before 8pm. I recognize that it was a busy Friday night but that should be anticipated. Overall a wonderful way to end our vacation.
We chose the Chef's menu (5 courses with matching wines) für over 100 Dollars each. Food was good but we expected more. The time between the courses was sometimes too short and sometimes too long (for the main we waited over half an hour). The wines came too late or too early and for the price I would have expected to get a refill especially after the long wait for the main. They never asked how we like it, our waiter was rather busy.
But the pizza for our so was great and they accepted all specials, they even braught him some cusion for his swollen feet.
Next time I would taste à la carte.
Awesome place, good variety, food is always consistently good
The food was good. The service was not. There was no one to greet us at the door. Once seated, we weren’t offered a drink and when someone came (the hostess I think) she had no idea what cocktails where available. The meal continued with the same clueless service including a waiter coming to give us new cutlery when we already had some. We ended up have 6 knives and 5 forks on our table of 2 for our main course. Training of staff required if you want to be a real restaurant.
We had a lovely late lunch at Mirodoro. Food was excellent as usual and service was outstanding. See you soon!
Our guests from Denmark were very impressed with the whole dining experience.
Thank you for making our evening so memorable.
We have never had a meal here that was short of excellent.
The meal ball sandwich was the best I have had anywhere, great flavour and the kale side salad was also fantastic.
My wife had the grilled cheese sandwich, this isn’t your mama’s cheese sandwich.
The wine pairings worked very nicely.
We were the first ones in the restaurant and got the table in the corner of the veranda, spectacular views.
The mains rate a C+; they were good but not wonderful for the $32-34 per plate.
There was confusion when dealing with the bill. The waitress - who had provided good service - arrived with the credit card machine and the bill, and asked "Can I put that through for you?"
I answered: "I really should take a look first." And guess what: the wine that should have been $72 was billed as $105. She took it away, but on the next try, a new item (which we didn't have) had been added to the list.
They did finally get it right, but I wasn't impressed.
Service was sub par. One person's food came out 30 minutes after everyone elses. Server forgot an order of wine, had to be reminded. Someone got food that they didn't order which was more expensive than what they ordered, but the server did nothing about it other than say sorry. One order of the special mojito came so bitter it was not possible to drink. On top of it all the server was rude and impatient especially when my sister tried to find something on the menu that was dairy free, she also told us rudely as soon as we were sat that we needed to order right away because the kitchen was busy and food would take a while.
We have been here before and had great food and service so we think this was not usual service, but we were still disappointed.
Amazing dinner, best ribeye I have had in a long time! Everything was great
We were so lucky to get the special table we requested. We always love our dining experience at Miradoro.
Halibut portion was small for my hubby! But he did enjoy it!
We had a wonderful dinner at Miradoro. They easily accommodated our dietary concerns. They recognized it was our anniversary. Very attentive service. Great food, wine and service.
Very nice. Great views. Enjoyed our meal. A bit pricey but tasty. Fire cooked pizza a bit Burnt crust.
VanGeest is a great chef and we enjoyed our dining experience in Oliver. Best restaurant in wine country!
Excellent food, decor, service and notably Sam Lymbery, GM, who does Miradoro a great service by his super persona!!
