   We’ve been to Morton’s several times but went last minute last night. Not only was our dinner extra delicious but the service was one of the best we ever had. Denis was fabulous!

   Worst Morton’s I’ve ever been to unfortunately. Long wait for table. Food was poor by Morton’s standards. Steak was simply not great. Ruth’s Chris in Toronto was hands down better last week. Shame.

   Place is pretty loud for the kind of place it is, you can hear everyones conversation. The staff is very friendly and fast. Food takes a while to come out but expected to how busy it is. Food is good, and very good portions

    First time there and last time. Outdated, food is average, and our server had a bit of a snappy attitude but came around as the night came to an end. Very surprised at this experience for Yorkville area and for being part of Park Hyatt which has recently been renovated. Just doesn’t fit.

    This was a special birthday and anniversary celebration for my partner and myself. We have been coming to Morton's in Toronto yearly to celebrate this event and have always enjoyed this tradition. However, since the pandemic, we have noticed a general decrease in food quality, including during this meal. Although other components of the meal (appetizer, dessert, drinks, wine) were satisfactory, the main course was disappointment. My partner and I both ordered our steak done medium and while his was "melt in your mouth" perfect medium, my filet mignon was disappointment - burnt, cooked "well-done", little pink in the centre and generally chewy - the opposite of what I would expect at a top-notch steakhouse in Toronto. If we had been to a less expensive steakhouse, this wouldn't have been as much of an issue. However, for a restaurant that prides itself on how it prepares its steak with prices to match, there should AT MINIMUM consistency in what constitutes "medium" in the kitchen. I wish we had taken pictures. I wish we had complained - I have honestly had better filet mignon at the Keg for a cheaper price. It has always been a pleasure to have a special evening once yearly at Morton's, but we will not be returning. There are other high end restaurants in Toronto for special milestone occasions that consistently deliver a high quality and enjoyable culinary experience you would expect from a restaurant within this price range. To make a long story short: if you want to call yourself a top steakhouse, and charge top prices, make sure you can at least cook steak properly.

    Phenomenal old world steakhouse. Genuine Atlantic lobster, not Caribbean, steaks cooked to peefection. My fave is a filet done Chicago style to medium rare with Bearnaise sauce. You deserve this.

    Not as good as it used to be, service and food wise. The molten cake that you wait for 15 min was not molten - it was dry .. had to ask the waiter to fill our water glasses and get us more drinks even though we were sitting in the bar section. We’re never asked if we wanted bread to begin with. We picked the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary so the menu saying happy anniversary was a nice touch but that’s where the positive experience ended. Very unfortunate as we used to enjoy dining at Morton’s in the past.

    Food was good. We asked to have no price menus for our guests. Theo was pre-arranged and we were assured they could do that for us. Somehow that was not communicated to the wait staff and the prices menus were given to wrong people. For a high end restaurant where this was pre-arranged it was unfortunate to not have been executed. More disappointing was their complete lack of ownership of the mistake. It completely changed the experience of the dinner for the group as the whole. The idea was for everyone to enjoy the meal without regard for prices (for those paying and those who were being treated). I completely changed the experience. The frustration was the complete lack of caring by the staff and management. no one at the restaurant seemed to care.

    The food items that were served are quite excellent and on par with similar venues in Toronto such as Hy's or Jacob's. However, I do note that the prices on the menu are rather high, especially the meat dishes, considering that they were not served with a complimentary side of potatoes. On another note, the service has more than exceeded my expectations (even for the price point).
