Our family was their to celebrate a special occasion. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional. They went above and beyond. The food was very good and in particular, the chocolate cake was outstanding. Highly recommend.
Great, great service.
The menu is very good. Service was perfect and we were able to enjoy a leisurely private lunch. Great place to talk
Had a wonderful Mother's Day Buffet Brunch. Fresh and tasty seafood and other dishes. I would go back next year!
Went out for mother's day brunch, selection was amazing, everything from crab to lamb to a chocolate fountain! Carey, Diane, Fritz and the rest of the team were awesome as well!!!
Dined with friend for her birthday, We shared a Caesar salad with prawn/shrimp add on, and fish and chips. Food was delicious and well presented. Then to top it off, we were very pleasantly surprised with chocolate cake with candle presented for my friend.
We had a fantastic lunch in a nice atmosphere. Thank you mosaic grille!
Great food with great service. Had the special of the day, which was Sablefish with Truffle Oil Sauce, delicious! Have eaten here many times and had the Cobb Salad, which is the best I have eaten in Vancouver. Well worth a visit!
The waitress really really paid attention to what we asked and the conditions we put on my nephew. (5 years old, needed to eat a certain amount of salmon and spinach before chocolate cake.) Gave him a high great smile amd put the cake between us to share.
Food was good. I had the brie, mushroom, and rocket/arugula flatbread. Good, fresh, I would probably have it again.
The chocolate cake was moist and very flacourful without being overwhelming. The piece was HUGE. Even with two of us (then four of us) eating it, there was still some left.
My nephew had the kids' salmon, which he mostly devoured. I had some of his potatoes ans spinach, which were pretty good. (Then again, anything soaked in that much butter is pretty tasty.)
We have been here before and will probably fo back when we're staying in downtown Vancouver again.
Everything is good but the Pad Thai is unbeatable.
Perfect. All good.
Service on the Tuesday was fine but the following day it was terrible; absolutely the worst I have experienced to date in 20 years in Vancouver
Family (with a new baby) were in town and staying at the Hyatt. Like most babies, theirs was a bit noisy. The staff were great in ensuring we weren’t annoying other customers yet making us feel very welcome.
I reserved a table through the website to celebrate my wife's birthday. My reservation was confirmed by return mail. When we got there we discovered to our great dismay that the restaurant was closed. The website was not configured to take into account the closure of the restaurant on Sundays. Never reserve a table by internet!!!
Fantastic! They accommodate my request, service was quick and friendly!
Everything was alright, there was an Abundance of kids or young asians in the restaurant and a load of kids outside the restaurant being very loud, our waitress walked by our table without saying anything and not even making rye contact while I was trying to get her attention
It was good. I would come again. That’s as good as it gets.
I was very disappointed in our lunch; the service was slow and unenthusiastic and the prices were high in comparison to other competing restaurants. This restaurant used to be good for business meals because the tables are fairly private and you can actually hear your guest but the service was so slow that it was embarrassing.
Services were pretty good，we ordered too much and our server also remind of that. Food were indeed have large quantity but the taste is just ok. Compare to other restaurants the price is fare cheap.
My husband told the waitress he had bad allergy about horseradish before we started the dinner. But she forgot to notify the kitchen. After we had appetizer, another girl came to tell that they made a mistake on salad which had horseradish and my husband had already eaten the salad. That was too bad. Though the manager tried his best to comfort us but it was too late. My husband was very afraid that he would had very terrible midnight as he would have allergy. Especially in New Year’s Eve. My husband refused any food from this restaurant after we got bad news. For him, he had a starving Eve of 2018. We cannot stand the ridiculous new year meaning. We won’t go to this restaurant any more and we would like to everyone that their servers are not professional and insincere. The waitress even didn’t come and apologize for her mistake. This is not acceptable!!!
We went here for New Year’s Eve and while the food was good, the service was terrible! Everyone was waiting almost 30 minutes in between courses and they couldn’t seem to plan anything right. I would not recommend.
Will not be coming back. Will tell all not to dine here.
Our first impression of the restaurant was great. Service was excellent, I received the proper seating preference as requested, our meals were delicious and the staff delivered an excellent experience for the special occasion.
We had a wonderful experience at Mosaic Grille and Grain Tasting Bar. We dined there for Christmas dinner on December 25th and ordered from their Christmas menu. The staff were delightful and attentive (but not over-attentive), the courses came out at good intervals and the food was presented beautifully. Most of the courses were delicious however there were a couple that were just ok. All in all we would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Christmas evening meal.. great food great service not an overly Christmas feel.
Great flavor in the food were backed up with excellent service. The Christmas Day dinner offered plenty of choice and was all freshly prepared. One minor complaint was that the wine pairing servings were a little short on volume for the price. Overall, I would definitely recommend!
Server was absent and rude. Got our orders mixedup and was unapologetic.
Outstanding service. Prompt and attentive. Perfect for a business lunch in a defined time period.
We had a lovely lunch. The food was fabulous and we all agreed that we didn't have to yell to hear each other speak. I went with 4 other people for a Christmas lunch and look forward to dining at Mosaic again soon.
Always really enjoy our visits to Mosaic. We usually celebrate our office birthdays at Mosaic - love the wonderful chocolate cake, and that we get seating for our group of 12 with no problems. It never feels that we are encroaching on other diners, and we get ample time to chat and enjoy our celebratory lunches. I would thoroughly recommend Mosaic.
We came for a birthday with a group of 7. Great food and atmosphere. Well priced and we were treated to a fabulous birthday cake at the end! We'll come back.
Went for lunch with my team from work. We all enjoyed our meals and were pleased with the atmosphere, especially the fact that it was not too noisy and we were able to talk to one another.
Great service and excellent food. The beetroot dumplings were not only beautiful but delicious. Lovely views looking out on Burrard.
Good hotel restaurant. Food is good but not outstanding. My salmon came cooked through and not pink on the inside that's au courant these days. My wife's steak was medium as ordered. If you're a group, order the chocolate cake as it's $30 for the whole cake and $15 for a slice! We got the whole cake and took the rest home.
Simply put, this is an overpriced average restaurant. The service was decent, but nothing special, and the eggs benny was fairly tasty, but the potatoes were lukewarm. Additionally, the $5.00 cup of drip coffee tasted burnt. The overall experience wasn't hideous, but I would never return.
Our server was wonderful! We were a larger lunch group at Mosiac Bar & Grill and all food came out hot and at the same time, couldn't be more impressed. Can't wait to go back and try the pad thai!
We were seated at a table at the window, the wine that I ordered was out of stock, but there was another alternative that was good. We received our food within a few minutes of ordering, and it was delicious. Great food and great service. We will come again.
Salmon tacos were tasty but messy to eat. Chicken avocado sandwich was dry. Big enough for two to split, particularly with the generous side salad included.
Everything was great except for the two mosquitos flying around the table after we were served - the restaurant should take it seriously as this wasn't a pleasant experience from that end. My guests were not very confortable even though food and services at the table were outstandingly positive.
My first online reservation - all went perfectly. Terrific server - didn't interrupt unnecessarily - gave us 3 women plenty of conversation time. Noise level excellent for us to chat - excellent menu choices.
