Mr. B's Bistro, a New Orleans restaurant famous for its Creole cuisine with a focus on fresh regional products, is located in the heart of the French Quarter at the intersection of Royal Street and Iberville.                                           We had some good dishes (seafood gumbo, blackened redfish). The shrimp on the shrimp and grits were as over cooked as any shrimp I have ever been served (they were gummy). The grits were good though. Slow service, lots of empty drink glasses. For the price, I would like an overall better experience.

                                          The ambience is wonderful, classic but not worn out or tired. Our waiter, Christopher, took good care of us. The food was excellent, especially the fried oysters. The drinks were good (and strong). We had a wonderful time.

                                          This is one of our family's favorite restaurants. I love it, my wife loves it, my kids love it, my parents love it... it's a New Orleans classic. My wife is from out of town, and when we were dating, I brought her here for our fist date in New Orleans. We almost ALWAYS get the barbecued shrimp. While this dish was invented by another great local restaurant, Mr. B's PERFECTED it. The service is always great, and if you're looking for something sweet and boozy, get a brandy milk punch.
