Wait staff was great. Very attentive and courteous. Food was very good from appetizers through dessert. Wine list was too big for me, but thankfully we had someone that could navigate it.

Hands down one of the best steakhouses around! Every time I am in town I make it a point to book a table. Steaks are delicious and the who dat shrimp is a can’t miss dish. Make sure to get the sweet potato casserole as it’s basically a dessert! Mr. John’s is top notch!

Mr. John’s delivers exceptional customer service. The food was excellent; steaks cooked perfectly as requested and vegetables were delicious. The bbq shrimp appetizer was very good. Although the sauce was a little spicy for me my guest loved it!! The waiter told us in the future we could request the sauce not be spicy since the sauce is homemade and can be made to order. The guests next to us were celebrating something and were extremely loud, so it took away from the experience slightly as I remembered Mr. John’s having a more romantic atmosphere when I visited in the past. The other side of the restaurant was full and a little loud as well, but people seemed to be doing what they came to do, which was enjoy company and good food. Overall it was an awesome experience and I highly recommend!

Overall, we had a great experience. The food and service was great, but it was very warm in the restaurant. As a person that is typically always cold, I was sweating. Not sure if it was warm throughout the entire restaurant or just in the corner that we were sat.

The restaurant was busy but not too loud to hold a conversation. We had a group of ten that were split amongst two areas. The appetizers were great and the steaks and sides were outstanding. I highly recommend the pork belly appetizer. Service was also top notch. I will be back here next time I’m in town.

I made the reservation online. This seemed to irritate them for some reason and they spoke quite freely about it in front of me. They tried to put us at a table that was right next to the door and clearly in the travel path of anyone entering the area we were eating in. I politely declined. They then told me it would be a 30-minute for another table (the restaurant was not even 25% full at the time). I put up enough resistance that they opted to go ahead and seat us. The waiter either had no personality to speak of or he just didn't like us. The conversation was minimal, but we got our orders in. The food pretty much made up for everything else. This restaurant clearly has a large group of regular customers that they like, but I got the impression that if you were not part of that group, then you were just a mild annoyance to them. Maybe I got them on a bad night. I would still recommend the place, once you taste the food it's all worth it.

We love Mr. John’s. Always go for birthdays. My favorite thing about Mr. John’s is the consistency - the service, the food, the cocktails - always consistently excellent. Prices have gone up a little; Mr. John’s is not cheap. But it’s worth every penny. Tip your waiters!!!

Menu was varied - although they claim to be “Italian” there wasn’t much Italian food on the menu. Some pasta sides with grill entrees. I had the fish of the day, which was over cooked but tasty and came with sautéed julienned vegetables. My husbands petit filet was good, but not the best he’s ever had. Staff was very attentive, however our waiter forgot my appetizer until after our entrees arrived. We might be back but it won’t be a priority

We love our lunches at Mr. John's. The staff are superb. We never want for anything. They make sure we are very well taken care of. :-) Thanks for always being the best. :-)

Valet parking made it easy. The staff was very attentive. The food was excellent! The Steaks were perfectly cooked. The onion rings were the small crispy variety, and flavoring them in Krystal hot sauce made them unique and tasty! Overall, this was an excellent experience!

As it was my first time at the restaurant, and I was seated at the lest side as you enter the restaurant, I would have expected a better atmosphere/environment. I understand though that it's a matter of space.
