My Partner and I have made visiting Helen, Ga. a Valentines tradition for the past two years. We are from Atlanta and when we go to Helen we feel as if we can take a breather, enjoy the people, the shops and the river. We went to Mully's and we were beyond satisfied. The Owner made a point to come over and speak to us which rarely happens these days. We will absolutely be back and will also recommend to friends!

The atmosphere was great. Enjoyed the live music. My husband had the chicken marsala, which was excellent. I had the chicken in cream sauce, which I thought would be similar to chicken alfredo. However, they add some other spice or seasoning in it, which I was not fond of. The fried oreos and ice cream were excellent! I would definitely eat here again, just would get something different. Very friendly and inviting staff!

Waited a while for a server. Once a server was assigned to our section the service was impeccable! We ordered 3 of the appetizers the grits fritters, the coconut shrimp, and the Wonton shrimp. The Grit Fitters were good but a little bland, The wonton shrimp was good and came with a sweet and spicy sauce, The coconut shrimp was good but it seemed strange that the coconut was not in the batter but was actually just shaved coconut sprinkled on top of a tempura battered shrimp, and the accompanying sauces were insipid! For an entrée my friend ordered the fresh local trout, grilled with a lemon white wine sauce and I had the grilled chicken cheesy pasta. Both dishes were quite bland and the chicken was quite dry! The atmosphere was good but I think a little more attention to detail could've been paid, it seemed a little dated, it was as if the buildings upkeep has not been maintained to keep the original flare it once had! All in all I gave it an overall ranking of three stars! If you're looking for a good night out from fasting, then by all means give this place a try!

Eating at 1:30P.M. on Thursday after Christmas we found the place to be 60% full. I would recommend a reservation as we did. I ordered the rainbow trout and my wife the shrimp/grit plate. The food was excellent and more so as we shared each others meal. The waitress was most helpful, cheerful, and my lower mark on "service" was not directed at her. We found the "service" to be slow, in our case a 30 minute wait and I noted the same for those around us. We also found it hard for them to justify just 4 medium sized shrimp on a $14 plate. Overall it was all "good" and we would recommend to friends. Note that close by parking is limited with a lot of parking farther back up the hill. They do have handicap parking by the restaurant. Enjoy!

We love Mully's Nacoochee Grill. We've been frequent diners there for the past few years and have never had a bad experience. The food is great, especially the grit fritters! We highly recommend Mully's for a great dining experience.

My husband and I came to this area for the first time for our wedding anniversary. We had an amazing time! The owner greeted us at the door and came by our table to inquire about our anniversary. The food was amazing, and the staff was very nice and accommodating. overall we have a great first month marriage memory! Thank you everyone!

This was a great find on open table. It's on the main road just outside of scenic Helen. The servers were great and the food was excellent. We had the best bloody Mary's we've ever had and I enjoyed the Meister burger with really good fries but our absolute favorite dish was the shrimp and grits which had a unique twist. I don't want to give it away but let's just say it's not your traditional shrimp and grits plate. It was amazing. We can't wait to come back.

The best burger in town. The chicken salad (wasn't on menu but was a special that day) was among the best I've ever had. The owner, Mully, walks around and greets folks and is super friendly and fun. Our favorite place to eat in/around Helen.

We made a reservation through Open Table at Mulley's for dinner one night while on our anniversary trip. The atmosphere was great and the service was fantastic. Out waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. The wine was great and the menu options had a wide variety of items that would be sure to accommodate many different pallets. Once we were done with dinner, our waiter found a spot for us in the room where the live music was playing so that we could finish our bottle of wine and enjoy the music. Once in there we noticed a guy walking around checking on all of the guests who we assumed was the manager. The guy walking around was actually Mulley (the owner) and he made sure to go up to every table in the restaurant to check on their food and service. In fact, when he found out it was our anniversary he went to the back and came back out with a glass of champagne for my husband and I to help us celebrate. He continued a conversation and wanted to learn all about my husband and I genuinely got to know us on a more personal level. When we were leaving he made sure to invite us back the next night for dinner and drinks while watching the football games because my husband had mentioned that he would be looking for somewhere to watch the games the next night. Overall we were super pleased with our experience and would highly recommend this cute restaurant to anyone visiting the area. I know that we will be sure to visit again on our next trip to Helen, GA!

This is an absolute Hellen mountain jem of a restaurant. Mully's is named after the owner -- a great guy who introduced himself to us after we were seated and helped make our meal not only outstanding but personal. I had the pork tenderloin which was as good as it gets and my wife had the rib rack which, as a rib lover, I have to tell you was the best I have ever had and I've had them just about everywhere. The place has a nifty bar with a bar tender who is a mixology magician making my wife her favorite lemon drop martini to perfection. We look forward to continuing conversations with Mully over the perfect martini and rib combination. M

So this review isnt for the most recent meal I booked at the Grill on Open Table because the restaurant wasnt open. Not sure where the mix up occurred but I was able to book a lunch reservation on this site for a Wednesday then when we had driven the 1 hour from our cabin in Blue Ridge to Helen and went to the restaurant they were not open for lunch on Wednesdays. We were very disappointed as we look forward to eating here whenever we visit the mountains in the fall. That being said obviously we like it there a lot since we try to make a trip there every year! Hated to miss out on the trout :(

The food was amazing. All the staff that we came in contact with spoke to us and were very friendly. The only downside was they weren't open early enough the next day. We wanted to stop by again before leaving town. We recommend the southern shrimp and grits or the ribeye.

It was absolutely wonderful over all! The music wasn't too loud, the man singing was great, the lights were deemed but not too dark, and the food was incredible. We weren't expecting the food to be too impressive as it was called "casual fine dining" but it exceeded our expectations. Must get the ribs!!! Will go back next time I'm in town and tell everyone I know about it!

The atmosphere and live music was incredible. The food was just as good-- every sing thing we ordered was top of the line. The ribeye marinade was delicious, the GRITS are worth a drive back (amazing!), the pork tenderloin was awesome. I'm so happy I took my boyfriend here for his birthday-- Perfect experience!

This spot has live music on the weekend and the atmosphere is intimate, yet energetic. The pulled pork was excellent, but the filet medallions were a little disappointing. I would try it again if we are back in the area.

We dined here to celebrate our wedding anniversary while we stayed at Lucille's Mountain Top Inn and Spa. Food was very good and if you are in the Helen area, you should definitely dine at Mully's. I had the special of the evening, swordfish while my wife ordered off the menu and had shrimp and grits. My fish was well cooked and very tasty. Both dishes were delicious. Go here, you wont't be disappointed.
