Inspired by the Bijou Cocktail, invented by Harry Johnson, "the father of professional bartending”, its name evokes three glittering jewels: gin for diamond, vermouth for ruby and chartreuse for emerald. Its recipe is also one of the oldest in the manual, dating back to the 1890s.

    Our visit to Fónico was wonderful. I knocked 1 star off of food because the Kampachi sashimi we ordered was extremely fishy and so we left most of it on the plate unfortunately. The oysters, fried chicken, and guacamole were outstanding. Again, I knocked off one star from the service because my friend said she wanted a "not too strong" cocktail, and the suggestion was an Old Fashioned using an aged whiskey, which was pricey and additionally very strong on the palate as one might expect an Old Fashioned to be. Other than the faux pas with the drink recommendation, the staff was wonderful and the food and ambience were amazing.

    Had brunch here and the food was sooo good. Really nice atmosphere, outdoor garden like. Fresh orange juice with out mimosas 👌🏼 I had the mole and my husband had the omelette, both great dishes. Would come back for dinner for sure!
