Terrie Green, the owner of the award-winning Corner Scone Bakery, loves to entertain and bring happiness to people with her batches of sweets. She recognized a lack of tea houses in the San Joaquin area and thus her desire to fulfill that need for the Lodi community emerged. Famous for her baked goods and sensational hostess skills, Green decided to offer High Tea parties at their bakery on the weekends, but the popularity of the events outgrew the small shop. When the former Barking Dog cocktail lounge closed, Green saw potential to expand her ideas. With years of baking experience, and a love for vintage tea sets, it was a natural transition from bakery to tea house. From a old-timers saloon bar turned elegant tea room, Green couldn't wait to open in August of 2016, she and her family were excited to present The Hidden Tea Room; a place where the community can enjoy an elegant style of tea. Green happily welcomes you to the opportunity of a dainty oasis.
