Afternoon Tea | Belleville, Southern Ontario

Best afternoon tea I have ever had, and I have sampled many worldwide! Delicious and beautifully prepared sandwiches, adorable little tasty scones, oodles of Devonshire cream, and impeccable service! I shall definitely be back! More

We enjoyed the evening and the environment. Our server was very nice and interested. We have been going out for family birthdays for a year now and I picked Shoeless Joe's because it was casual and most importantly you can make a reservation. More

Swiss Chalet is usually fairly consistent with it's menu choices, food presentation and service. The size of the chicken in the 1/4 chicken meal has shrunk, the bun appears smaller and the fries were cold(as usual), thank goodness the sauce is hot! The waitress had to explain how the CAA special has changed. Not impressed with the changes as it's encouraging people to order more food than they require. We had a table of 7 and in order to get 3 sets of CAA specials we had to do 3 separate transactions and credit cards. Also we had pre-booked our table to celebrate a birthday and were put at the drafty table right by the entrance. The older folks found it cold. The staff did not offer any birthday dessert or song for the birthday girl although it was mentioned in the booking that it was a birthday celebration. We did not think we had to ask while we were seated. What is the point of asking in the on-line booking if it's not referred to again? More
