The Cheshire really has the feel of an English pub, and the food matches that. It's not fancy, it's not like the "gastropubs" you may have visited in London - this is the type of food that real pubs in real English cities serve up. My wife had the chicken pie with mash. Presentation was basic, but the food was cooked perfectly and tasted great. I had the Cornish pastie with chips and beans. The content wasn't exactly as a Cornish pastie back home, but it was very tasty and it was massive! We shared a lovely dessert, and the bill was more than reasonable. Service was great throughout. Really friendly without being overbearing. We'll be back for sure. MoreOpenTable Diner -
