Best restaurants near me in Little Italy / College St., Canada

Honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a while. You can just sense the good vibe right when you walk in. The polish lady (I am so sorry we forgot your name) greeted us so kindly. Our waitress and the man who dropped off our food were also pretty great and kind. Just overall amazing vibes, people and food. Brought my grandma here for dinner and will be bringing my friends next :)

We’re not vegan or even vegetarian but thought we’d give this a try on a recent visit to Toronto. To start with, the service and the staff are outstanding. The host made sure that we weren’t chilled because of the front door and our waiter, Santana, was knowledgeable and informed about how the food was prepared, as well as the history of the cuisine.  He made recommendations,since this was our first time, and we loved every dish we tried.  The dishes were very creative, in part because it’s a vegan restaurant, but every one had complex layers of flavor. We would heartily recommend giving this restaurant a try.

Another memorable dining experience at DaiLo with the smaller tasting menu. Very unique and creative cuisine, attentive and professional service. We were warmly welcomed on a cold January night.

We arrived almost 40min before our reservation. Driving from over 2hrs away we aware unsure of the traffic as we were attending a show at the royal theatre. The staff greeted us and were able to take us early as we waited for our other guests to arrive. Staff were excellent and friendly, only thing I would say it is took them a little while to bring us water or ask us if we wanted a drink, not a huge deal. We had Calamari which were crispy and the tomato sauce dip was like home, bruschetta was very good, the Caesar salad was pretty standard as well. For mains we had 2 pizzas which were fantastic! The penne alla vodka and the rose sauce were excellent as well. Wine was good. Homemade tiramisu was one of the best I have ever had in the World and that’s honest. Espressos were also very good. This is a great place for a casual night out, dinner with family or friends, or just a regular meal. Food was excellent, service throughout the experience was excellent, and the ambience had a real home like feel to it. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning. 5 stars all day.

Absolutely love Zitto Zitto, food is always fabulous, staff is incredible…Marty is the best waiter you’ll ever have! Anita & Allan (owners) are also incredible and run a great operation…go early & enjoy a drink in the bar (fab & cozy), and Sotto Sotto (next door - intimate & casual) is awesome too (same owners). You won’t regret it and if you love steak the have half price porter house on Tuesday’s - amazing deal!
