Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there.     Nostrana is an (almost) hidden Portland treasure! The space and ambiance is warm yet epic, the entire staff seems to be operating on another level from other fine dining restaurants in Portland; they're engaged, friendly, warm, and yet professional and perfectionistic in the best possible ways. The food, all of it, was super-fresh and really special. Might have something to do with them having their own chef's garden right across the street. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

    Great food and fantastic service tonight at the Screen Door. Had the deviled eggs, house salad, fried chicken and cranberry crumble dessert. Everything was so good. Our server was super fun and nice. Great experience.

    We came here to celebrate my dad’s birthday. We had a good table with a decent view of the city. Our first waitress wasn’t so kind but that didn’t bother us. We noticed a window seat open up and it had been about 30 mins so I asked the host if we could move and she said “ YES!”. After that the evening got even better. Our waitress was fun and so kind! The view was absolutely amazing and the Christmas parade ships were out! We had great food, great service and wonderful experience!

    It’s been a long time since I’ve had “one of those meals” and this was definitely it. It was fantastic from start to finish. I feel like this is a hidden gem that’s going to explode when people start telling their friends about it. So dang good. My wife and I were still talking about it over coffee this morning.
