Best restaurants near me in Richmond District, CA

The food is delicious and creative,not the usual predictable far. The chef owner is from Turkey. The breaking of bread appetizer with various Turkish spread like hummus, smoked red pepper compote, olives and pickled vegetables was such fun to share. I had the Anatolian pasta dish with mushrooms, hazelnuts and winter squash while my friend had lamb ribs.

Great food and service. One thing though, I mentioned specifically that we were celebrating a birthday but it seems like the restaurant didn’t take note of it and asked us what we were celebrating anyways. No biggie but thought it was odd as open table specifically asks.

We always feel special at Spruce. What great service, delicious food and just special treatment from all. Every employee is constantly looking for any way to help make the experience special.

Wow. I haven’t had Turkish food this delicious since I spent a month in Istanbul. We had small plates, large plates, wine, and dessert. Everything we had was exquisite, authentic, and exploding in flavor. The staff had excellent recommendations and a sense of passion and care about the food, wine, and service. We did dinner and learned that they also do a traditional Turkish breakfast Thursday-Sundays. I will be back!!

After 8 years in the Richmond I finally tried Aziza. Not sure why it took me so long. Loved the ambiance, multiple dishes wowed, and flavors were off the charts.
