We just moved to Omaha and celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary! We knew omaha steaks were on our list and discovered Gorat’s - of course had to try Mr. Buffett’s favorite steak house! Very low key - no frills decor…but the food is what it’s about! We had the wedge salad to share which was huge and delicious, onion rings for appetizers that were the best we have ever had - and a cowboy ribeye and porterhouse with loaded potatoes. The steaks came out exactly as ordered - were melt in the mouth delicious. We had so much leftover to eat the next day! The service was attentive and we got our picture with warren’s cutout! Oh and the martini’s were perfect - our first big night out after moving from Los Angeles - we highly recommend and will return!

We attended a Wilson Daniels wine dinner on 3/20. Each course was so flavorful and creative and went very well with the selected (mostly European) wines. I really enjoyed the wines as I don’t often get the opportunity to drink wines from Alsace, Spain and Hungary unless I’m in Europe. It was our first time at this restaurant and such a great experience! We had a very fun table and enjoyed the evening so much! Being able to purchase the wines we drank was an added plus! Both the chef and the wine rep provided great details for each course and pairing! We can’t wait for the next wine dinner! Thank you!

It was good. We were looking for someplace that replicates Punch Pizza from Minnesota. This was close but not quite there. We can speak highly of your place although we will try other local wood-fired pizza places to see if they are closer to the pizzas at Punch.

This was our first visit since the introduction of the new menu. Our waiter did an outstanding job highlighting the new additions. I ordered the Blatt Mac Buffalo Blue which was excellent. My wife ordered a new item Rock Shrimp Tacos which was highly recommended by our waiter. She enjoyed it but felt the portion size didn't make it a good value. There were many comments at our table of ten concerning the steep price increases on the menu. Our neighborhood group goes out together every Wednesday evening and we normally rotate about 6 different restaurants. Based on the discussion there is some question on whether Blatt will continue in the rotation based on the lack of value.

The food is always really good. The servers are friendly. I do wish they would remember to come back to the table and clear dishes , drink glasses to make more room on table. We had six people at a height top table and it got pretty crowded, especially when we had dirty dishes laying on the table. It's always a fun vibe and great to watch games on TV's.
