Another fantastic meal at The Canteen. Delicious seasonal cocktails before dinner, an excellent variety of wines to enjoy with dinner, and appetizers and mains that were beautifully presented and indescribably delicious!!! Perfect, friendly service (as always!), and simply THE best place to eat, drink, and celebrate the start of the Christmas season with friends.

We always enjoy our experience at The Keg. Overall last evening was good. The noise level though was not enjoyable....but I guess that has to be expected when it is a popular spot.

We had an amazing experience at Salt & Ash! Booking a reservation online was super easy, and our table was ready as soon as we arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and courteous—they even offered to take our coats, which was such a thoughtful touch. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with festive lights and greenery for the holidays, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was phenomenal, and our server, Paige, was so sweet and engaging. She made the evening even more enjoyable! The cocktail menu featured a fantastic variety of flavors, and the Backyard cocktail (made with tequila) was absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we had the jalapeño cornbread and French onion tater tots. We weren’t sure what to expect with the tater tots, but they were phenomenal—so flavorful and unique. For our mains, we enjoyed burgers, fries, and pizza. Everything was cooked to perfection, with standout items like the crispy, perfectly seasoned fries (some of the best in the city!) and the pizza, made in a stone oven, which gave it that authentic, unbeatable flavor. Salt & Ash is a must-visit spot on the Halifax waterfront. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

Excellent food!! Service was outstanding. The floor manager and food service manager both took time to stop and chat for a few minutes about our experience. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic dinner and our server Andrea was wonderful. We were celebrating our 1-week marriage anniversary and our first date as a married couple. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great nice. Our food was delicious and dessert was amazing! We definitely recommend Chop Steakhouse for any celebration or event.
