Escondido Restaurants

Truly a hidden gem in Escondido. Delicious food, homemade pasta, excellent service. Was able to get a same day reservation for dinner. Our server, Fernando, was so kind, knowledgeable, and attentive- a true professional. Somehow he seemed to anticipate our every need. Such a refreshing level of service in an industry with so much turnover. And the food was just as good. We were a party of four and split the calamari appetizer which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Just perfect. For entrees, two of us got the Cioppino with homemade spaghetti and the other two got the filet mignon. All our meals were delicious and perfectly cooked. The house bread and butter was warm and fresh. For dessert we shared the warm butter cake with vanilla gelato which I would also recommend. Live musical performers were just starting to play as we finished our meal. All in, a lovely dining experience with impeccable service. Looking forward to coming back the next time I’m in the area.

The host was training someone new. Both were nice. He was very friendly and kind to our dog. Our waiter was AMAZING! He was helpful with our orders and very personable. We really enjoyed our overall experience. Thank you.

This was our first time coming here. We loved the ambiance and decor. Our server was so friendly and took care of us and my husband's 40th birthday with a different type of candle. We were so amazed. We arrived around 530 and it was not as busy as when we were done with dinner. Can't wait to return!
