Arnprior Restaurants

We were 7 friends. The server gave us the time to talk, eat, drink, and laugh. Orders were taken when we were ready and delicious food was served in a timely manner. The atmosphere was cozy and the service team were courteous and professional. 1 person had Celiac disease and had to eat gluten free. They offered several options, the food tasted great, and was gf. I also tried their Wellington location. Both have been great.

NeXT consistently delivers one of the best dining experiences in Ottawa. The rotating menu keeps things fresh and interesting for returning clients while retaining the same quality we've come to expect from chef Michael Blackie and his team. NeXT's menu can best be described as creative fine dining. A fusion between traditional European and global cuisine (predominantly Asian inspired). We have always ordered the tasting menu option which comes with 8 dishes for sharing spread across 4 waves. 3 waves are savory and the final is dessert. Chef's choice for the dishes, however they will accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences if possible. I would not consider this a small plates type of restaurant if you choose to try the tasting menu, come hungry! The drinks menu is well thought out and the cocktails pair well with the meal. Expect fine dining prices, but we have always felt that the value for your money, especially with the tasting menu is very good.

The food was DELICIOUS!!! The service was great but the music was not very good. It was mostly breakup songs and it just doesn’t seem like the right clientele for that. Maybe play something a little softer like a chill playlist on Spotify. Or even something instrumental. I could hardly hear my friend talking over the music. It didn’t set a very good vibe. BUT everything else was wonderful. Will be back again.

Restaurant and facilities were very clean. Our waitress was very attentive and even made some solid recommendations. The food was great, large portions so definitely value for money. Drove from Gatineau to Arnprior to meet family and randomly chose this spot and I would drive back again in the future to try some of the other stuff on the menu. Maybe a bit more variety for non alcoholic patrons? Otherwise can’t think of anything worth changing!

I cannot recommend this location enough. Despite the super busy venue due to a concert next door, the staff were accommodating, friendly, and quick with our meals and drinks. It’s a wonderful ambiance with sensational food, music and service. I cannot recommend our server Megan enough. Such a sweetheart who joked with us, and made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 dining experience.
