Shawnigan Lake Restaurants

We had an amazing dinner and dessert. The chef makes everything in house including the desserts! We were lucky to enjoy a jazz band that made threats enbiance amazing. It's a must do anytime of the year, you will love it.

Our overall dining experience was outstanding mainly due to our very friendly waiter, who made the whole evening very pleasant.

It’s a lovely atmosphere which is most of what the experience is about. The high tea was tasty and enjoyable for what it is: very small portions of typical high tea food. It is quite expensive for what it is but I think everyone knows that. The flight of Prosecco, blackberry wine and cider was a nice treat.

This is a lovely place for lunch. Great parking and accessible to those with mobility problems. The view is amazing .

We enjoyed a delightful birthday "Bruncheon" with group of friends at Alpina today. Although the dense mist shrouded the view towards Finlayson Arm, we sat in the bright picture window and enjoyed the feeling of being in the clouds. The food was delicious and arrived promptly without any of us feeling rushed. We lingered for quite a while over our brunch, but never felt pressured by our very attentive server. We were moved by the lovely finishing touch at the end of our meal: a special birthday message in beautiful script from the kitchen accompanied by chocolates! It was a very nice way indeed to end a happy Sunday meal. We look forward to returning soon to this special place which is closer than we thought to Victoria but feels a world away. Thank you to all the staff for making this a memorable birthday!
