- JJennyvipColumbus •10 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was our first time at Cento tonight and it will not be our last. We were celebrating my birthday tonight with my husband, my son and his girlfriend and my daughter. Stacey was our server and she was fantastic. Very at ease with all of us. She walked us through the menu and made spot on suggestions. Figs and prosciutto, the truffle, egg dish, Caesar salads, beet salads, three pasta dishes, the meatballs, and one of the fish entrées rounded out our meal. We finished with tiramisu and chocolate hazelnut torte. It was one of the best meals I have had in a long while. the patio was beautifully lit up and we sat by the fire. The live plants and greenery and lights were just majestic. This is a fabulous place to celebrate a special occasion and we were very pleasantly surprised. Thank you for a wonderful evening.More infoCento – German VillagePrice: Expensive• Italian• German Village•4.8
- MMarkNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI've been coming to Lindys for over 40 years. Somehow they continue to keep their same high level of excellence. And there are times - like this dinner - where they seem to suppress themselves. The dinner and drinks were tremendous and our server was aware of what we needed before we were. Made for a wonderful birthday dinner for my girlfriend and me.More infoLindey'sPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• German Village•4.8
- RReginavipAustin •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoEvery part of the meal was delicious. I'm also not much of an alcohol person but the cocktails here are phenomenal (if a bit pricey). I had the Abbey Lane cocktail and it was perfect. For the appetizer, we had Picnic Eggs (which weren't overly mayo-filled). For the main meal, we had the Short Rib Ragu and the Black Bass. Both were wonderful - a great portion size and quality ingredients. Taylor was an amazing server who helped with my menu questions and helped make this anniversary dinner excellent.More infoSycamorePrice: Moderate• American• German Village•4.6

- MMarcvipSouth Carolina •4 reviews4.0Dined on Sep 20, 2024Food and ambience were good as always, but two negatives this time. First, the beer selection is not good. But more importantly, we felt rushed. It appeared they were understaffed and so our server was stressed....not her fault, but it wasn't a very relaxing meal. She was attentive and did her best. Dining there should be an experience.More infoTony's Italian RistorantePrice: Moderate• Italian• German Village•4.7

Discover German Village
German Village is one of the most charming neighborhoods in Columbus. Just blocks away from downtown, its tree-lined brick streets and lovingly preserved mid-19th-century architecture give visitors the feeling they’ve traveled back to a simpler time. The buildings are quaint — none over three stories tall — and they house art galleries, bookshops, breweries and bakeries. German Village also boasts a variety of restaurants, but your best bet is to seek out the German fare. Must haves? The legendary Bahama Mama Sandwich. It’s a hickory smoked sausage nestled in a split-top bun. If you’ve got room for dessert, try a giant, overstuffed cream puff on for size. That’s a lot of calories, you say? A leisurely post-meal stroll through German Village cures all.
