Châteauguay Restaurants

The food was good but for the price, I’ve had better. Their filler bread is very greasy but good. The grilled octopus (apetizer) was good. Lime and a little sweet taste to it. If you’ve never had octopus, it’s chewy. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. The chefs know what they are doing but I’d ask for more flavor/seasoning. Just my taste buds. The drinks were top notch. I had a cocktail. Nice and strong. I’d go there just for the drinks but it doesn’t work like that. It’s not a bar. The music was good, upbeat but too loud for calm conversations. Had to repeat myself several times while talking to my date. If I wasn’t sitting close to her, oof, I’d have to shout! Even the waiter had to come next to us to take the orders. Be prepared to speak up. If you’re a loud mouth, you’ll be fine. Lol! The service was good. Very professional. I felt a little cold when we first sat down as well, so maybe regulate the temp. There was a breeze somewhere. Overall, it’s a, “Yes, I’ll recommend it to a friend” answer for me. Enjoy!

The service, food and ambience were outstanding. It was pricey, but expected in a big cosmopolitan city like Montreal. We really enjoyed our experience.

Absolutely wonderful! The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. Eating dinner in such a beautiful, warm and inviting place was exactly what I needed.
