We’re the second generation of two Greek families that came to Canada to open some of Vancouver’s longest running restaurants.
Now, we’re taking everything we’ve learned from them to offer a brand new dining experience.
WHAT ARE WE ABOUT?
Loula’s is the Greek nostalgia of our upbringing infused with modern dining trends that have intrigued us. The atmosphere and cuisine are an homage to our namesake, a woman dear to our hearts who always leaves you in good spirits with a full stomach. Expect that overwhelmingly authentic Greek experience when you step through our doors—along with a few other things you won’t expect. You’ll just have to trust us.
WHERE ARE WE?
We’re located in the heart of Commercial drive, a spot we feel quite at home in. If you know anything about The Drive, you know it’s warm, vivacious and a little kooky.
Just like Loula.
We combine old world Mediterranean warmth and sunny dècor with an inviting atmosphere that appeals to everyone!
Chef Marcello Lombardo - INSPIRED BY FOOD AND DRIVEN BY A DREAM
Born in the City of Delights, or more commonly known as Palermo, Italy, Marcello fell in love with cooking from a very young age. Influenced by the crystal clear water, the flavours of the culturally rich air and a little encouragement from his mother, he went on to receive professional training from Milan and owned a restaurant on the Adriatic Sea. Now for over 20 years he's brought his joy of Southern Italian cooking to Vancouver. Marcello's is a neighbourhood gem on Commercial Drive in the heart of little Italy set for any occasion.
Havana Vancouver is inspired by the colours and culture of Old Havana, Cuba.
Guests can expect a hybrid of authentic Latin flavours combined with Pacific Northwest style and a commitment to fresh, local ingredients. Craft beers and an innovative cocktail program create a menu unique to the location.
