I was seated on time after having a cocktail and slacking in the renovation. There was great energy as the place was packed with many enthusiastic patrons. Daniel, our server was amazing and took excellent care of my wife and I. Do not miss the Bbq Shrimp, the corn side dish, and of course the prime rib. I am really getting tired of more and more restaurants starting to charge extra fees, for staff, for credit card usage, etc., especially when not published to the customer beforehand. These costs need to be addressed as a cost of doing business and not being passed on to the customer as extra charges and fees. Both were curated perfectly and phenomenal, with surprises that we likely would have missed ordering on our own (including the desserts, which we often skip when dining out). This was my splurge meal in New Orleans and I was not disappointed! We both had the ribeye and then split the fries (plenty of food). Drinks were delicious and the dessert was out of this world.
