Hi, I don’t usually write reviews for restaurants but thought this one deserved the time investment.we had a very enjoyable dinner at this establishment that was hyped as hip. I was most impressed at how well they could could turn out truly quality meals so smoothly . The service was attentive even though our waitress was handling a fairly large number of tables. The food was 8 on a scale of ten,the only thing I remember to fault was the refrigerated tomatoes has lost most of their flavor in the salad. The pasta was amazing,produced in house no doubt and perfectly prepared. ENJOY

Tuck Shop is a hidden gem! From the warm greeting to our server Gabrielle (who is a superstar!), to the inventive and extraordinary chef - we were blown away. Jonathan has created a family that takes pride in what they do- a one-of-a-kind mix of down to earth atmosphere and 5 star culinary mastery. We can't wait to return.

The two sweet spots in restaurants are to me either a restaurant that's not fancy but delivers consistently good food at a very reasonable price or a restaurant at the higher end that delivers food that I cannot make at even close to their level. Clearly Park falls into the second category. They deliver outstanding Japanese food (I had the sushi platter) with a cheerful and knowledgeable staff in an unfussy and pleasant atmosphere. They charge a small fortune but they really do stand out in quality and even quantity. Beautiful, delicate tastes, some unusual combinations - and there's no skimping on the amount of sushi and sashimi you get. I don't believe that there's any Japanese restaurant in Montreal that comes close to Park. Well worth it for a special occasion.
