- CCindyWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was great as always, and we’ve been going here for years. It’s usually impeccable but this time the service was off. I was celebrating my husbands 76th birthday at his favorite restaurant. I requested a specific table usually for 7 even though we were only 5 — 1st in writing when scheduling thru open table; 2nd when I spoke personally to someone who called to confirm the reservation; and 3rd when we arrived to check in. They agreed it would be no problem. However, the table was still set for 7 when we arrived and they took us to a 4-top when they seated us (which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place). We got it straightened out finally but it was very disappointing that they took so little care considering my efforts to plan it out. It was like they weren’t really listening. I’ll still go here but I will avoid parties of 5 in the future.More infoFilomena RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Georgetown•4.8
- JJillvipWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoFour of us lunched at Old Ebbitt Grill a week ago, and it was so good that I returned today with a different friend. Both times the food great and the service (Jack) was excellent. Jack suggested an alternate dressing for my chicken and ancient grains salad, and it was perfect. Others had other salads, the Walter's sandwich, the roast beef sandwich, and the burger -- all excellent.More infoOld Ebbitt GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.8

- KKimVirginia •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFirst time to try Afghan food. Server was very helpful in making suggestions. We shared the dumpling sampler appetizer which gave us 3 different tastes each. The pumpkin dumpling was to die for! My husband loves lamb so he chose the Dhood Palou and was very happy. I'm less of a lamb fan and went with Veal & Mushrooms Sabzi Lawaan and loved it. The decor showcased Afghan crafts and art tastefully. We will definitely be back soon!More infoBistro AracosiaPrice: Moderate• Afghan• Palisades Northwest•4.8
