Neros Steakhouse - Caesars Windsor Ratings and Reviews
The charred octopus and escargot with brie were absolutely amazing!
Best Steak I ever had! Cooked perfectly! Taste was Awesome! Staff TOP NOTCH! Tomahawk was to die for!
The best! Every time we go it’s wonderful! Looking forward to the next time 😍
View was amazing, service was great, only wish prices were lower or steaks came with a side.. I will never order a side especially at those prices
Nero's is always a great place to dine. They have a great Seafood Special on Thursday nights. Pretty pricey, but if the US dollar is strong it cuts the cost. The steaks are great, the drinks are a bit shallow. Wait staff is very nice and always happy to see you. If you have a players card you get 10% discount.
We went for the seafood special that is available on Thursday nights. the food was good but the lobster crab and shrimp were cold.
Very nice experience. The Filet steak was cooked to the correct temp (med/rare), however, did not have much seasoning other than the grill marks. Mashed russet potatoes had very little seasoning. The large square plates were not "decorated" with any special swirls or garnishes. Just a glob of mashed potatoes in the center with a lobster tail sitting in it, plus the filet, asparagus spears and a small au jus cup. Thought the potatoes could have at least been piped into a design and drops of a seasoning for the steaks swooshed or droplets around plate would have looked nice - expected this for a 5-star restaurant with chefs. Lobster tail was delicious. and the Caesar's salad was very good. The meal just wasn't spectacular like I expected for the price. We had a light on the ceiling above us that kept flickering and dimming, and it was distracting. Our waitress was very nice. Overall, I'd give it a 3 or 4 out of 5 experience.
Waitress and food was excellent as always, however something happened with our order as it took over 1.5 hours to reach the table. Our starter salads were served one hour before our main course. Management apologized, however no explaination was ever given.
My husband and I ate dinner during the week.
I asked for a window table as it was my husbands b-day -- did not get it !
We ordered a drink before dinner and one during dinner - nice service.
I was very disappointed with my lobster meal ( did not order the "special of the night which was steak/lobster as I do not eat meat).
I assumed my lobster would be bigger and more elaborate as I was paying full price, not the special, but it was not.
The side dishes were large and OK.
We have been two other times to Neros and thought we would give it one more try as we were going to a show at the casino--- We will not go again.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Nero's. The food was excellent!! and although the restaurant did not have many patrons the atmosphere was very pleasant. Our server whose name is Simone made the evening most enjoyable. She was a highlight if you will. We were celebrating a 57th wedding anniversary and she ensured everything was perfect. Just a lovely evening.
Nero's is hit or miss. This visit was ultimate miss! From excuses from the staff of "a busy evening" to 10+min to be greeted at our table. 30+ min for simple appetizers, to my $66 bone in filet steak requested medium served well done. Our sides were less than fresh and warm. Our nameless waitress requested a "re-do". 45 minutes later! I was served a lovely prepared steak... however my husband was prepared correctly and was finished with his meal. Our compensation was ice cream because they were out of turtle cheesecake (at mid evening service, out 🤔) I was handed a $200 check, a to-go container and wasted 2hrs 45min of my Saturday evening!
We had the most amazing time. The food was excellent and our server Ben was perfect. Always worth the trip.
Our server Simone was outstanding!!!!
The lamb was absolutely out of this world.
We will definitely visit Neros again
The food was excellent. The service was adequate. Our waiter was not very friendly but did his job. He did not welcome us or tell us his name. ( Which was however on a name tag) I did make the reservation as a birthday celebration and thought perhaps he might have wished the birthday person a happy birthday. Perhaps he was not advised. Small things perhaps but they do make the dining experience more enjoyable. All and all an OK experience. We would try it again.
The most “Un New Year Ambience “ ever. Had to wait outside in the freezing cold because security was backed up checking ID’s at the Nero entrance. No valet to be seen (we had to go find them) and then we were told because we were 6 minutes late (actually in line 10 minutes before our reservation time), they would not be seating us (charging $99 per person too as “no shows”). Eventually seated us. Tables were just regular looking tables, not a hat or noise maker or even a flower arrangement in sight. Food was good but common. Service was fine, nice waitress once she warmed up to us a bit and we tried to be efficient and friendly while ordering. Overall pretty meh.
New Years dinner
-valet service / quick and friendly
Reservations were made easy, service just always seems to be terrible.
We spent New Years Eve at Nero's. The atmosphere was romantic sitting next to the window overlooking the Detroit skyline. Service was wonderful leaving time between courses. And the food was amazing. Absolutely enjoyed everything about our dining experience.
I've had the pleasure to dine at Nero's in the last and also attend special events in the restaurant and on every occasion, it was a great experience. The menu, whether it is the every day one or a special occasion menu, Caesars Windsor always goes above and beyond the regular expectations and delivers on good taste, quality and nutrition.
Went for new years dinner had a wonderful time the only thing i would suggest is a senior addition to the menu we had to much food the staff was wonderful
great place to dine . food excellent as was the service. very friendly staff . all in all a very positive experience
I ordered lobster and it was mussy. I took my fork and it fell apart just trying
to pick it up. It should not have gotten out of the kitchen in that shape. The
chef had to know it was bad when he took it out of the shell and placed it on top
of the shell. I have ate their several times and was always pleased with the
meal. The waiter took the lobster back and got another one. All he said was
The food and atmosphere is excellent and a visit is always a must whenever staying at Caesars.
The service you receive is dependent on the server you have as we have seen both excellent to mediocre service from past visits, but the food is the star of the show always.
Appetizers were great, Thursday seafood platter special was ok. Would be better if all items were cooked to order but our crab legs were dried out and rubbery (reheated). Shrimp and lobster were great, scallops and crab not so much. Order off the menu.
They didn't have our reservation but seated us anyways aside from that it was no big deal they were very polite friendly the service was amazing the food was delicious they gave us a complimentary dessert each for our troubles which we didn't even have any
My husband and I had our anniversary dinner at Nero's on dec. 27...One of my coworkers recommended Nero's...it surely did not disappoint. Dave our server was spot on fantastic without being intrusive. We took part of the wed. eve special surf n turf. OMG..it was the best steak I we ever tasted. The lobster tail and shrimp were also delicious..Thanks to Nero's for a great evening!
Love Neros! Favorite place to try dine.
Excellent meal and great service. Timing of drinks, appetizers and main course was perfect. We did not feel rushed and our waiter was efficient and courteous without being overbearing. Value was good considering the fine dining experience. Our table was lovely and roomy. We will definitely return soon.
We had the pleasure of spending our 49th wedding anniversary at Nero's and thougt it was wonderful. Our server was excellent and knew his job well.
Great Restraint with Great food. First class dining. The only reason it did not receive 5 stars is that although our server was great, she was over worked. She had to take care of 5 tables and we were all seated within 1/2 hour of each other. She did her best but it took way to long to deliver our food. Management should space out the seating better to avoid this kind of problem.
Food was not good at all! But the service was great.
Great food but a little pricey. Atmosphere was great. Perfect for romantic evening or get together with friends
The food was fresh, cooked the way we like it and tasted awesome!! The side servings were bit large for just the two of us. Would highly recommend.
Steak was good. Side dishes were way overpriced and bland. I ate a few fries and my girlfriend ate 1/2 of her 6 roasted potatos b4 we ordered a 3rd side. The potatos had no flavour and tasted like they had been boiled and thrown in a bowl. The waiter didn’t ask if there was a problem with our food. He only asked if our steak was to our satisfaction. Thee was no offer to refill our drinks. Overall, a poor dining experience
The food and service here are exemplary ... they take the time to prepare and present their food perfectly
Had one of the best steaks ever!! Our server was great as well - made sure our drinks were topped up and gave some great recommendations. Looking forward to coming back to Neros again - maybe next time for my birthday instead of my friend's - so I don't have to pay! :)
We had the seafood special for 2. Very disappointed! The size of crab legs one a nice size the other was very small. Only one serving of lobster cheese macaroni. The lobster was very good. Only one scallop each. The shimp was very. The cheesecake was good but one piece looked like someone had ate half. We like the restaurant but now impressed with the seafood special.
It was an amazing dinner where we dined on some of the best Salmon and Halibut we had ever eaten. The service was outstanding and one of the best dinners at a Casino property ever had. This includes Las Vegas in this review.
Nero's is an excellent place to eat when in Windsor/Caesars.
Meal was very good, our table was close to the bar which was not busy but the bar staff carried on a conversation with a couple who were at the bar it was loud.
