We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Nero’s for their seafood night on Thursday. The food was amazing and I absolutely love their wine selection. Our waiter, Milan, provided five star quality service. We are so impressed and can’t wait to come back.
Our food, service and entire evening was fantastic! I have been to Nero’s three times now and each time was amazing! I think it’s one of Windsor’s best restaurants and would highly recommend it!
My husband and I went for our anniversary. The place is beautiful. Great fire of water and Detroit skyline. The service was excellent and the food was the best part of the night. The lobster was sweet and juicy and the prime rib done perfectly.
We made reservations for dinner before a show and it was excellent, as usual. Our waiter, Brad, did a great job. Delicious meal, great service. Perfect start to a wonderful evening.
Very expensive for what you get - The Keg by far better steak - food wasn’t even hot - $40 + for a very small cold steak with no flavour and it was suppose to be their best cut - not attentive service you’d expect for fine dining - would not go again
As a frequent guest of Nero’s and Caesar’s Windsor, they are one of our first choices to dine. What I would like to express is that I wish the restaurant would enforce the dress code policy. The restaurant is a beautiful place to enjoy a meal with a very nice environment, yet guests are allowed to come in with athletic shoes, sweat pants, jeans, etc...
It really takes away from the wonderful experience of dining at Nero’s. However, what I would like to add is that we had back to back evenings booked and the hostess was willing to move up our reservation on the second night so we could attend the show without being late. We were very appreciative!
The Wednesday special is the best ,and you can use member card to get 10%discount.The food is delicious
Pete, out waiter was excellent and looked after all our needs.
Wonderful food for the money. Would go again. Loved the view.
Everything was delicious! The Thursday special is very good. If I could fixed anything it would have been the drawn butter for our seafood, not warm enough.
Nero's is amazing... I brag about it to everyone I can!! Great food and atmosphere. Very classy restaurant. I love the view, and service you get here. A bit on the more expensive side, but completely worth it. I highly suggest Nero's for any occasion. Any excuse to dine at Nero's, I take it!
Excellent food and service. Loved the flavours immensely but very pricey. Real fine dining
Attentive but non-intrusive service to us. I watched the staff provided careful attention and additional assistance to an elderly couple who were probably regulars and needed extra help leaving the restaurant as they both had difficulty walking. The staff were very kind and caring to them.
Although food is pricey, the quality and quantity of what you receive makes it well worth it. Select cuts of meet, fresh vegetables, and a pleasant atmosphere make this place a must try for upscale dining.
Great food and good deal on Wednesday and Thursday specials. Great food, drinks and service.
My wife and I had a Wonderful steak and Lobster dinner on the evening of March 14th and we would definitely go back again!
Food was good. It would be nice to see more vegan-friendly options
Service was great with Good attention to detail. Steaks were very good and cooked perfectly. Good experience.
Sadly Neros has been slipping away. I remember when I first went here a few yrs ago, food was high quality and presented as such. Service was top notch, ambiance was fine dining and classy.
Now it's unshaven waiter half tucked shirt, dark and dated, only other people in there seemed to be cashing in coupons. Food was meh at best, expensive for sure (maybe I should hold out for a coupon)
We have had a declining experience lest several times coming here for our pre-show or Saturday night dinner. Theres a new fresh place called Spagos, an Italian bistro, go there. Fun friendly staff, amazing food and half the price.
We had a fabulous time! Our steaks were cooked perfectly to our liking and the meal was served in great timing. Our server was fantastic also and made sure we were well looked after throughout the entire meal.
Definitely going back soon!
Great ambiance. Perfect timing between courses. No rush. Very comfortable. Excellent service.
For the price was not overly impressed with the food. I had the lobster with pasta. Not much flavor. Both the lobster and the pasta were dry. My son had the filet and mac/cheese. He said the filet was good. Mac/Cheese average. I think the food at this place was very average. Ambiance was very nice. Would not go back.
Overall the dining experience was great. The lobster Mac&cheese was not the best, but the rest of the meal was great. Did not like our table location. It was too close to the next table which made conversation a little difficult. The view of the river is beautiful at night!!
Neros is outstanding with delicious food and impeccable service! Weekly specials are great value and plentiful. Love this restaurant!
I went with a friend to enjoy your Surf and Turf Wednesday. It did not start out so well as our waitress was not very pleasant; no smiling; no conversing; just saying what she needed to say. I ordered the Caesar salad to start and when it was brought it did not have enough dressing on it to my liking. I asked the waitress for some more on the side as it was a little too dry. She just turned; went to get it and brought it to me. It was delicious once I got more dressing on it. My friend and I both ordered the tenderloin, medium rare. When they came we both cut into them and my friend's was done to perfection; mine was overdone--cooked medium; no blood whatsoever. Well, for the price of the meal my friend said you should send it back. I motioned for the waitress; she rolled her eyes and came over. We both showed her the inside of the steaks to compare. She asked me to cut mine more to the middle, but to no avail. It was still too dry for me. She took it back without a word and my friend gave me half of hers to eat until the new one came out. A few minutes later the Manager came out and she was very professional and pleasant. She agreed that the steak was overdone for medium rare and said they were cooking me a new one and that dessert would be on them. Well now was my opportunity to talk to her about her waitress. I told her that she was not very pleasant, seemed put out when she rolled her eyes etc. She said she would definitely speak with her as that was uncalled for. The waitress brought the new steak; I split it with my friend and it was delicious and perfectly done. The Manager must have talked to her because after that it was a complete 180 with the waitress; she was talking, smiling, asking us questions and even more pleasant to the people that were seated next to us. So all in all, it started out bad, but ended up to be okay.
Always a great meal. The Lobster Mac and Cheese is really good. Nice to not have to leave the casino for dinner.
I have not visited this restaurant in over a year and to my delight the food was fantastic. I started with the shrimp cocktail where the shrimp was cooked to perfection and the sauce had just the right amount of kick. My sister and I split the beet salad which includes an incredible champagne vinaigrette. I had the prime rib and I always request the end cut. To date I have never had such a delicious piece of meat. The chef took the time to make sure my end cut had a crust on the top but the meat was melt in your mouth. To top off this great meal what a great connection we made with server Ryan who was at our table just at the moment we needed him. Job well done by Neros.
WE HAD A Party of 5 for a birthday celebration. had the wine room basically all to ourselves, which was awesome and the birthday girl loved it. the food however was not "fantastic" . steaks looked pathetic on a huge plate with nothing else...maybe a tomato, lettuce, something or a smaller plate. The shrimp bisque soup was not good.....but the onion soup was ok.
all the a la carte items were very good, but so pricey to have to add to an already overpriced steak. the surprise dessert at end for bday girl was well thought out and perfect. we will likely hit the Keg down the street for steak from now on unless pricing changes.
The service was very good. Our server seemed to be there at the right time every time our wine glasses were almost empty
Was far above our expectations. Would highly recommend this for the food lover. The whole experience was absolutely amazing.
We thought Neros a classy restaurant...two thumbs up...
I booked this restaurant for my fiancé birthday dinner. We had reservations still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. I asked for a window/waterfront view instead of got view of the street next to the emergency door. Once we were seated it to took at least 30 minutes for them to come and take our order. I had in the reservations that it was a birthday celebrations yet and still I had to remind the waiter it was her birthday. My tomahawk steak was very dry even after getting it medium...little to no seasoning on the food..the Mac and cheese barely had lobster in it and it was dry as well...very overpriced food and it wasn’t good at all..
Truly a fine experience. Food was outstanding as was our waiter Rich.
My wife ordered 8oz Alberta Beef Filet medium well. It came out more than well done it was not edible. They didn't charge us for it but it diminished the whole experience. You would think a steakhouse would be able to cook and serve a steak to a customer's liking!
We were a party of six...and all enjoyed the food, service (David) and ambience. We sat in the Wine Room and it was perfect for conversation. We all were more than pleased with the food...the steak was to die for. Loved it but if I had to make one negative comment it would be about the desserts. Two people ordered the dark chocolate mousse and were not thrilled with the texture. That being said we would definitely return...maybe just skip dessert.
French Onion soup was delicious, as were the scallops but nothing amazing. I had the lobster tail which was average. My girlfriend had the steak which was cooked to order and very good. For Windsor Nero's is a favorite spot for us but compared to Detroit it's definitely just a bit above average. Service is always good there.
We have had four different servers in our visits all have been great. Most recently brad and he was Fantastic. It was a nice dinner out and we have never felt rushed.
Everything was perfect about are dinner. Drinks were awesome, services outstanding. I had the Haddock my husband had the prime rib. Both were great try the tuna appetizer .
Having made a reservation well in advance, I was very disappointed to walk past open tables and sat next to the kitchen. Our server took our order promptly and served drinks and salads, then completely abandoned us for nearly an hour. She acknowledged our empty water and wine glasses but never refilled them. When my prime rib finally arrived, it was luke warm, gritty, and flavorless.
Wonderful food always a stop for use when visiting Caesars Windsor.
