Neverland Tea Salon
Not your average tea salon, Neverland is an amalgamation of everything we love: celebration, decadence, ritual, whimsy and creativity. We love variety, so we offer you options on which Neverland experience is right for you. Slip in for a quick indulgence at our Tea Bar Bakery, or enjoy our formal high tea service in our Neverland Room.
For those with dietary intolerances, our chef, Gordon Kuang, has also customized a complex blend of flours to create gluten-free options that are literally indistinguishable in taste and texture from our regular items. The idea is to have those with dietary restrictions not just feel included, but honoured for their differences. No dairy or gluten, and Vegan? We promise to wow you with indistinguishable variations of our high tea pastries, talk-of-the-town scones and full lunch menu.
Please respect our 1 1/2 half hour seating during busy times. Weekends and holidays are a minimum spend of $15 per person, High Teas are per person only.
I love this place! I take all my friends here every opportunity I can! The food and service are fantastic! Highly recommended.
We always enjoy the delicious tea and stock up to take some home as Vancouver is a four hour drive from us. My toddler has always loved coming here at ages 3 and 4. Great children’s tea menu. Can get VERY loud when the seatings are all full as there is nothing to break up the sound and tables are quite close to one another. Weekends are busier, obviously. But their Neverland tea menu is very large and diverse. For a quieter tea Secret Garden is more calm. :)
A very special experience. I would recommend this to all my friends.
Really good place but time limit is just 1:30 hr...
I dont think i will comw back again 😊
First time here for a casual catch up with a friend. I️t was cute, and I️ loved the decor but I️ think some small details could be improved on with regards to experience + decor. The food was pretty solid however the desserts to lean to the fruity/tarty side, which isn’t my preference.
We had a surprise 40th birthday here and it was amazing. Food was great and the tea selection was amazing. The best thing was the friendly attentive service. We even left our flowers and vase there and they called a cab and sent the flowers to us! Highly recommended ❤️
My husband and I took my mother in-law and my sister in-law who was visiting from the US. Had a wonderful time. Will go back in the near future.
My server went out of his way to give me stickers when I told him I was making a travel scrap journal. I was grateful. That was out of his way.
There were several children running around the shop on a Monday afternoon which made it hard to have a conversation. Otherwise great.
A very cute place to take your mom for high tea! ☺
Wonderful service, amazing selection of tea! Like the fact you can get unlimited pots of tea with the Grande Adventure high tea.
We loved the vegan high tea, the citrus scone was sooo delicious! Can't wait to go back.
We were celebrating my friend’s Birthday 🎂 and went for High Tea but they have other options as well as gluten free and vegan options. It was lovely and Dalton was our waiter. He was very personable and knowledgeable about the different teas. We could try as many as we wanted. We tried two different ones. The food was excellent. Five different little sandwiches, a scone and four different little desserts. Would highly recommend it.
Always a great time here! Diva, our server, was very enthusiastic and fun!
I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help me decide which tea to try. I liked that they knew about the teas and their different flavors. The teas were very good.
It was another great experience! Got to spend time with my girlfriend and it was great food and great service! Love to try the different tea that’s available on the tea menu! Definitely will be back again!
Every time I come here I am delighted by the atmosphere, creative menu, and amazing assortment of teas (which they also sell by the bag)- staff are lovely too! 10/10
Fantastic spot to enjoy amazing and creative food with a tasty cup of coffee. Hat off to the chefs!
This is my favourite place to go for high tea. Having been to other places in the city, Neverland has a delightful menu with a wide variety of creative treats that tickle the palette regardless of the dietary options and/ or allergy accommodations you may require. I love the whimsical atmosphere and bring many of my friends and family here to experience it. They have a regular two hour seating for weekdays, but weekends are only an hour and a half, so if you’re planning for a catch up with a friend, plan for the weekday seating as on the weekend you will feel a little rushed.
This was my first time there and I had their Vegan Afternoon Tea (Holiday menu and we chose the demi, which is just a few of their menu items). I have a lot of food allergies so I always choose vegan if it's an option. I really enjoyed their teas and my sister took a few to go as well. As for the food, it was alright. It wasn't the best vegan food I've had but it wasn't bad. If you're not a fan of Daiya cheese like me then you will not enjoy their quiche. One of our desserts was a bar with chocolate drizzle on top and my sister and I found it a bit dense. Despite the fact that I wasn't a huge fan of what we ate, I'd probably go back again for High Tea or just for lunch. It's definitely worth a try.
It’s always a holiday tradition to indulge in high tea here. We had great table seating with view of the tea cups hanging overhead above the chandeliers. The staff are mindful of the 1.5 hour allotted and we were able to sample 2 pots of tea with third to go. Place has been redecorated with more seatings for group but still retain its whimsical charm - only suggestion is to address the annoying (fruit) flies buzzing around. The savoury offerings (salmon mousse, turkey and another sandwich with puff pastry) were quite nice but was disappointed that there were no sweet substitutions for (chocolate) allergies. Given patron allergy, still given a chocolate cookie as take-away. Overall, $45 for 4 savouries, 4 sweets (duplicates of 2) and scone with fraiche cream & jam was bit pricey but provided quality time together.
I have been to Neverland for special occasions and everytime they were great! This was the first time ever they ran out of scones! No scones, special devonshire cream and home made strawberry jam, I cannot say enough that really made the afternoon tea experience slightly off. The rest of the food were great, and yes the server did offer us one extra sandwich or bake good in replacement of the scone. I cannot say that I am impressed this time around, especially when I reserved this in advance.
When one makes a reservation, a table should be ready for you.
Had to wait 5 minutes although tables free as "computer" being used by someone else?
Although I had made the reservation, the waitress kept addressing my friend (who was my guest) and offered her water and not me (she didn't want any, but I did)
and then my guest was handed the bill??????
Noisier than the last time I attended in May.
Food good, I will return one more time to see if service was a one-of situation.
I love this place! The staff are always so incredible, kind, and seem to take pride in what they do. The tea list is extensive and amazing; the options are endless! I am gluten-free, so I always get the gluten and dairy-omitted high tea. Everything included is delicious and great value. I tend to go for the demi tea option, as it can be quite filling. I’ve also had their regular menu items and everything I’ve tried has been amazing. This is a perfect place to go catch up with your best friend.
I brought my 84 year old Grandmother here the other day for her birthday. We really enjoyed the food on the Holiday High tea menu. Our server was lovely, but unfortunately the service itself was quite slow. It was also very loud inside (due in part to a large group sitting next to us), which took away from our experience a little. Overall, we had a very nice time and would definitely go back.
Overall our experience was grand! The service was EXCEPTIONAL - the waiters (aka tea steeper’s) were very attentive, informative and welcoming. The food was very good, but there were a few items that my mom and I did not care for. Although it’s hard to please every single person as taste varies from person to person. Unfortunately one of the draw backs to a smaller, 1 room facility is that when it’s packed - it tends to be quite noisy and hard to have a conversation/hear the people you’re there with. I do find the price to be a bit steep as well, as most food items are bite sized.
We had limited time there so we were only able to try a 3 teas each (out of 72 options!!), despite having chosen the option for unlimited teas. If you have a few hours to spend trying teas and catching up with friends, you get more of your money’s worth! Overall it was a good experience and I will definitely go back in the future!
An enchanting afternoon tea experience. It was whimsical and lovely and my boyfriend and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. We will absolutely be back. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. The tea selection was fantastic. Excellent options for vegetarians, vegans, gluten and dairy-free and meat-eaters alike. Truly a gem.
Really appreciated the gluten free options for my daughter (7years old with celiac disease) who loves to have tea parties! I didn’t think we would be able to have gluten free high tea - we had a really lovely time! Thank you!
Our server Dalton was amazing !! The wine and food were delicious! My daughter was celebrating her birthday and we try a different high tea every year! We will definitely be back with family and friends
Great atmosphere and a wonderful selection of teas that were all fantastic. I'd love to go back and try some others. The menu changes with the season, we had the Holiday menu that featured a turkey and cranberry finger sandwich, roasted yam pastry and an eggnog and vanilla rooibos cake (among many others) that was delicious.
While the price can seem a little high for the High Tea menu, it is overall worth the experience and array of foods and teas you get to try.
This place is amazing. The staff is always super friendly and their food is to die for. So many different kinds of delicious teas and treats. A little expensive, but absolutely worth it to treat yourself every once in a while.
My daughters and I go to The Neverland Tea Salon every December for our annual holiday tea. The ambiance and service is always wonderful and the tea is very delicious. It is something we look forward to every year!
The service was alright but they kept rushing us to leave because their other reservations were coming in which is fair but it just felt very rushed and less enjoyable. The food was pretty good though.
Took my girls here for their very first high tea experience and the staff did an exceptional job making us feel welcomed and the girls had such a magical time! Would definitely return!
Brought mom here for afternoon tea and she lived it! (She’s hard to impress) this place is a gem in this neighborhood.
This is the second time my friend and I have been here and, if anything, this time was even better.
The menu changes with the season, so this was their winter menu. There are only two differences between the regular and vegetarian options and even then everything looks nearly the same.
This time, I had a London fog, then a lavender Earl Grey, both of which idea highly recommend.
I have been to Neverland Tea Salon few times. Was never disappointed.
It truly is a magical little tea salon. Their Holiday High Tea was spectacular a definite must!
The place is not presentable for high tea salon. The sofas are dirty and old. The Mac and Cheese I ordered for my daughter was cold and hard to chew she ended up eating only a small portion of it. The server Sarah was great and attentive but the place and foods are poor quality.
