I have been dining at Extra Virgin for many, many years. The food is always excellent, especially the mushroom crusted chicken and barolo short ribs. Sunday night the special is meatballs and spaghetti, and it's very, very good. Get there early though because it runs out quickly!
The ambiance is cozy - great for a date - and the service is good. Can be crowded on weekends.
My only complaint - after Covid, they raised the prices about 25% (not uncommon these days) and automatically include a 20% gratuity on ALL checks noty common, even after Covid). I'm used to that rule for groups of 6 or more, but we were only 2 diners! I would have given a 20% or more tip anyway because the service was very good, but I'd prefer it to be my choice!
