Food was outstanding. Server was extremely knowledgeable, professional and aligned our appetite with the perfect dishes. He was also super efficient and got us our drinks and food fast. Will definitely be back soon.
It was my birthday and they dropped the check without asking if I even wanted desert. They knew it was my birthday but rushed us through the dinner none the less and made no mention of it other than when they called to confirm my reservation that morning. Was made to feel like a burden.
Service was phenomenal and the food was excellent. Waiter provided suggestions and did not disappoint! Will definitely be back - soon!!
The hostess was very rude. We got there early, so we sat at the bar. A purple hair black waitress was also very rude and told us we could not sit there. We left and came back 15 minutes late to give them time to set up. We sat at the bar and had amazing service from the beverage manager - Lindsey.
Great lunch. Nice spot. Love the patio. Will be back
We have eaten here twice and had very good meals both times. This past Saturday the waiter was not ready to manage his own tables. He never introduced himself or discussed specials with us. Once the food came he never came back to check on things with us. I had to find him to get our check and a to go box. It was disappointing but will not keep us from returning. The Bartender was great and fun to order from. The food was exceptional.
Good food and enjoyable but none of the elements were very surprising or made us go, wow! Overall we found the appetizers more interesting and tastier than the entrees. Similarly some of their wines were excellent and well-priced. We would recommend checking those out (though with only 4 of us we didn't get to try many).
Server was good and speed was appropriate. It wasn't a busy night but, like most modern establishments there are a lot of hard surfaces, so it was still rather noisy.
Generally enjoyable place to go.
Delicious upscale Italian with great environment.
Excellent food, friendly, competent service. Very nice environment and felt welcome with our 5-year old.
Had a lovely meal. All the food was delicious. $16 for a glass of house pinot noir is a bit much, but whatever... I would come back again and again.
The food and especially the Chicken Marsala was delicious and our server was excellent.
The food and service was absolutely outstanding. Do not sit outside, however, unless you want to hear 10 screaming kids batting ping pong balls around and blowing out table candles. The completely ruined a fine dining experience. What ever happened to responsible parents raising respectful and well behaved kids?
Excellent food (pasta made in house and delightful desserts), fast and friendly service and great value for the price.
The service was excellent as was the food! Would definitely recommend 246 for a special occasion dinner.
Our waiter was super friendly and attentive. The ambiance was inviting and fitting for Mother's Day! Food....ohhh delish!!
Great brunch at express speed. Limited choices due to Mothers Day and fully packed. Well managed restaurant. Highly recommended.
Excellent service as usual. Wonderful food, never disappoints. We will be back
Fantastic experience every time I have the opportunity to dine!!!!
My favorite restaurant in Atlanta. Always a pleasure to eat at no. 246.
Had a reservation and we were seated almost immediately. The food was delicious and service was great.
Everything was UH. MAZE. ING. We had 4 deeeeelicious courses paired beautifully with our wine. Our server CJ was extremely attentive and friendly without being intrusive on our date. It was my husband’s birthday and he felt pampered by every person that touched our table. We will definitely be back!
Coffee was luke warm, every time our cups were refilled. Our waiter was attentive at first, but he seemed to be too busy and forgot about us near the end of our meal. When crowded, the restaurant is very loud, making conversation a challenge. Food is good though.
Delicious food, trendy atmosphere but slow service.
We had a great experience at no. 246. Although we visited at 6:45 on "Prom" night, we still were sat quickly. We also had bread to snack on and our drinks were ordered immediately. Our server was very attentive and kept us updated on our dinner. He also brought us a complimentary and delicious meatball when he realized our food was taking longer than expected. All in all a wonderful experience. Thank you!
no. 246 is a special place for our family. One of my daughters was engaged there, and then had her wedding at the restaurant. It has been a go-to place for family gatherings and special occasions. Whether we go for brunch or dinner, the food is top notch and served by a very attentive and friendly waitstaff. The manager is the best, and we consider him a friend. He always checks on us and the other patrons, which we always appreciate. The atmosphere is wonderful - whether you dine inside or out - it is very nice but comfortable.
They have the best service ever! They are truly customer service driven. The staff were awesome. The food was good. I didn’t like two things and the went above and beyond to try and satisfy me. I plan on going back now that I know what to order per my palate. Thanks for a wonderful evening!
Food was delicious. I love the vibe of the place. Our service was great.
I like the food at no. 246, and sometimes the service is terrific, but once in a while we have a server who kind of treats us like we are stupid old people, which puts a dampener on the evening. I think we are relatively cool enough even though we are in our 50s. We typically order lots of food and multiple cocktails/wine. We never complain. We are pleasant. We tip 25% even if service could be better. But it's not the first time that we've felt a bit blown off. Also, I was asked if i wanted my martini dirty. I'd ordered a gin martini with a twist. Um, just no.
We fell in love with 246 on our first date in awhile. We wanted to go somewhere special and 246 delivered. First we enjoyed the olive and almond appetizer recommended by our server Katie Hahn. She described the menu with a grace and enthusiasm that made me want to try everything. Next we enjoyed the smoked mozzarella pasta, asparagus, and eggplant. We ate every last bite and topped it off with the rich chocolate gelato. Not only was the food and service spectacular, the space was clean and fresh, and vibrant with conversation and energy. We will definitely return.
We had such a wonderful waiter!! He gave me an umbrella when I left so I didn’t get soaked!
Excellent food, service, ambiance. Noise was not an issue. And the wine selection was fabulous!
The service wasn’t terrible, but it is definitely my least favorite of the Ford Fry restaurants. All of the dishes had an unappealing sourness to them, and in the two times I’ve visited, the only thing I liked was the meatballs.
The food was excellent. The pasta is home made and was cooked perfectly. Our server was very attentive without being intrusive.
I felt the price for a pizza was on the high side. I also thought the menu was a bit limiting. Was disappointed to not find a nice veal dish on the menu in an Italian restaurant. This accounts for the 1 star reduction.
Very good but also very loud. Detracts a bit as it makes conversation difficult.
One of our favorite places, but the receptionists the past few times have been unfriendly and rude. It has started out night off to bad starts at 246 unfortunately.
Loved it! The chicken marsala for two was superb-very generous portion. My martini was delish, and the chocolate sorbet and chocolate cake were very, very good. Lighting, noise level, general vibe of the place were all spot on for me. My only complaint is that it took us so long to find this place, but that's on me, not on them!
We really enjoyed dinner. However we had to wait for over an hour for our table- we did have a reservation. The staff was quite apologetic and more than compensated for it. I would go back . Everything was delicious and the pizza was outstanding .
Terrible service/ table. Food was average and we both got sick the next day. Stay away.
the menu offered excellent options, attentive service and we loved the outdoor seating! a delightful experience
