Nori Sushi - Milwaukee Ave
The ramen was terrible. Shumai was great! Very limited sushi rolls that don’t contain fried stuff and just fresh fish.
I have been to many Sushi restaurants in the city as well as the suburbs. This is very average, maki rolls are no frills. I have never had soft-shell crab maki that was cooked so lightly. The ventilation in the restaurant was very poor. We were almost overwhelmed by they deep fryer. My wife had a noodle bowl which was good but again nothing special.
Excellent food with nice ambiance. Warm food on a nice, snowy, winter night.
Cute spot, great food. Service needs an upgrade.
great food great time
I do not typically write reviews, but this may have been the worst dining experience I've ever had. The food quality was just awful on every dish. Miso soup with far too much seaweed. Edamame undercooked and hard. Beef asparagus overdone and chewy. Soggy shrimp tempura in sushi roll. Tuna sashimi watery as if it had been frozen. Salmon had an odor so didn't even bother trying.
A total miss on freshness, flavor, and texture. The atmosphere was slightly cramped. Service was friendly enough.
Relaxing atmosphere to grab dinner with friends
Didn't like anything !
The appetizer we got was amazing! It was like crab meat Rangoon but better! It was like cheesey rolls that looked like mini egg rolls.
Ramen was a disappointment. Noodles tasted exactly the same as the cheap packages you purchase from your local grocery store. Pork belly was not tender and hard to consume.
Very very good sushi spot! Great for a late night out. I recommend the strawberry sundae maki ;)
Felt very rushed by the service staff. Sushi was good but didn't all taste very fresh. Kitchen was apparently closing at the same time my reservation was made for so I don't understand why I was allowed to make a reservation at all for that time. Our choices were therefore limited and we left hungry. I'm sure any other day or time this place may have been a winner. Not today though.
There are a lot of sushi places, but not many also serve noodles. I love noodles, and that is one of the main reasons I love this place. Sometimes I crave a delicious bowl of authentic ramen noodles, and this is the place to go to get your fix. They have a wide menu, with plenty of options.
Sushi was delicious. Way better than Papajin. Grand Caribbean and Red Nori rolls were really good. My friend got the teriyaki with which I think he was satisfied. Drink selection is lacking, but there is a Walgreens right across the street which serves alcohol.
The food was good, the service was good, the atmosphere was good and it was very conveniently located for after the theater "The Den", could not ask for more.
Nice staff, cooked food and sushi prepared very quickly. Easy parking out front.
Wait service was excellent! Our waitress was phenomenal! The sushi was fairly good. However, the restaurant needs cleaning up & better access.
I love sushi and have been to several places, and so far this is my favorite. Not only do they have your typical sushi options, but they also have ramen noodles! I rarely see the noodle option at other sushi places so I had to order them. They were super delicious and did not disappoint. The location was spacious which I loved too, because I wasn't crammed next to another table. I loved all the food I ate, and so did the people I went with. I will be going back, plus it's byob.
