Excellent food, love the atmosphere there and service was professional
This was our first visit. Really enjoyed our evening. Food service atmosphere was excellent.
Our favourite go to in Prince George
Every time we come to PG this is a must stop. Dinner is always excellent. Never had a bad dish.
Pastas were warm not hot.
Our server Shannon was excellent, the kitchen modified the meals to meet our dietary needs without hesitation. The experience was great, and would recommend to all to give North 54 the opportunity to wow them
Food is generally good, but a little “off” the other night. Hope it’s not a trend...
Overall good place to go
Tenderloin was not very good, too tough
Would go again but not order the steak
First time to north 54 and definitely won’t be the last time.
The owner has changed and the food quality has sadly deteriorated. Salads from a bag, dressing from a bottle - and this for upscale dining prices. Very very very disappointed. The new owner has obviously changed everything in the kitchen and cut as many corners as possible. It is evident that he is riding on the coat-tails of previous owner's reputation but that won't last long.
North 54 really is the best fine dining experience in Prince George. Always a treat, whether for a business lunch or a romantic dinner.
It was nice to have different options, than most usual foods for a dinner menu.
Very nice restaurant. The food was great and very attentive service. Looking forward to going back.
Terrific restaurant. Services is excellent - gin martini was perfect. It is a higher priced restaurant but unlike many restaurants of this kind, the portions were big.
The info about drinks and food was great. The food was very good.
I found that the cost of food and drinks way too high and and did not order my favorite wine
because of that. The restaurant is very clean and updated. Nice experience overall.
Loved it. The server was knowledgeable and had great recommendations. The drinks was made to perfection and the food was outstanding. Definitely a good date night spot.
The restaurant had a friendly atmosphere and waitress was good. Not all items on the menu were available on a Friday night at 6:00 pm. The entries we selected we were ok but not delicious and certainly not good enough that we would recommend going there. We were dissatisfied given this restaurant is supposed to be one of the better ones in town.
A wonderful experience! We went for our anniversary and everyone was lovely. Well wishes and complimentary sparkling wine. The food was excellent and service was next to none!
Great food. Service outstanding. Excellent venue for formal and informal dinner.
We made a reservation at North 51 for our anniversary at a friend's recommendation. It was lovely. The food is amazing, the staff was so attentive and friendly, and it's just a beautiful, cozy place. Though it is a bit expensive, it is entirely worth it and I'd recommend it to anyone for any occasion.
We went for birthday dinner and the waitress was absolutely incredible!!!
Always a pleasant quiet atmosphere! Waitresses are always super friendly, smiling, & attentive regardless if you are their table are not. Food is amazing and always cooked to perfection, they may not be a “steakhouse” but you will find no better steak in town. This restaurant is always the first to come to mind when asked where to go in town!!
I have eaten here before, but not since 2017.....we visited to have dinner with a friend. I think the downside to the evening was the ambiance . I requested a quiet table and we were seated next to an empty table but the music was pretty loud and I think we were close to a speaker , we asked to have it turned down and it was. Unfortunately it was also quite cold , we were all wearing light jackets or sweaters but it was chilly .
Have to say the service was a bit intrusive : plates removed while one of us was still eating , Bill arrived with loud question about whether we wanted it split......
The entrees were fine , good steak and nice grilled scallop risotto. The dessert was disappointing : we all like “ sticky date / toffee pudding” so we all ordered it . The pudding was a sponge bundt-style cake sitting in a pool of too-sweet toffee sauce ......so the pudding itself was not sticky !
I guess that the best thing about the meal was the entrees but other aspects were disappointing......
We were two women and the server kept calling us 'guys', the food was served barely warm and one of the vegetables one the plate...a carrot slice, was not cooked at all. I was so disappointed, I have eaten at North 54 for many years and it has always been fabulous. I will ever darken it's doors again.
The lambs chops were very small. They were ordered rare and were well done. The filet was charred very badly on the outside. The bartender did not know what extra spicy and extra muddy meant when making a Caesar.
My family and I had a celebratory dinner at North 54 on a Saturday evening. Our server was very attentive, and the food was excellent. I had the duck, and it was perfectly cooked. I would certainly return to this restaurant for another meal.
We went to celebrate grad, and I am happy with the experience. We were greeted immediately by name, and taken to our reserved table, a cute two seater in the front window with chandelier. Our server was attentive and courteous, without being overbearing. She even gave her recommendations when I was unsure as to which entree to order, they all sounded good. My partner and I dined on the lamb shank and carbonara. Both were delicious and well prepared. The server also suggested the best way to reheat our leftover pasta so that it would not separate. Overall an outstanding evening. Thank you North 54!
It was much to hot inside, very little food for the price (* ie 3 scallops with spinach) although flavor was good. Calamari was nothing out of the ordinary and chicken pasta dish had very little chicken and was dry. Service however was excellent.
We were a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their drinks and meals. The service was friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu. It’s such a nice atmosphere.
Nicest restaurant in PG. Fine dining. Quality food. Predicable. Reliable.
Don’t know why the tv screens are necessary in that establishment?
One of the worst steaks I have ever had. Our whole table felt the same way. Over done, burnt and no flavor.
Asked for a steak medium rare and the outside was charbroiled and black and burnt and the inside was more rare than medium rare. Quality of food there has gone down hill
We will be returning in the future as the food and dinner experience was great. Thank you
Had an evening out with husband and friends. Service was good, Prices were pretty high in my opinion. The drinks were good, The stuffed Neptune was ok. We also had the Lobster Ravioli, It was ok, there were a lot of shells in my meal unfortunately. i found that it took a long time for our food to come out, but i had heard this about North 54 so we made sure we allotted the time needed.
All in all, we will probably come back, but will not order the Ravioli or the Neptune.
Food was very good. They made a good Caesar.
The roast duck was very tough and not properly prepared in imho
We totally enjoyed it. We will be back Thanks I normally don't do reveiws. So you may want to change this part of your app
Great food. Thursday wine special very good value.
Very nice service. Steak was a little flavorless
