The restaurant felt under staffed and it took our waitress 20 minutes to come take our order. Food was excellent
Delicious and great wine.
They were put of a few thing and the service was a bit slow, but still a lovely dinner out
Have been going here for years. We stopped when new management took over and we were never 100 satisfied. But this Saturday it made up for all those times everything was perfect !! It was pretty busy but overall the food was delicious.
Amazing waiter and food.
As always, we love to dine at North 54. We love the food, service, excellent wine list, and cozy atmosphere.
Everything was very good except the food was a little disappointing. Wild boar and duck breast meals were okay but we wanted to be dazzled by them.
The food was terrible. My son and I ordered lobster ravioli. It was cold. The special was butternut squash ravioli and they hid 4 butternut squash ravioli underneath our three lobster ravioli in each dish. The butternut squash ravioli does not pair with the tomato sauce for the lobster ravioli. We did not eat our meals. Paid and left without complaining. I will not be back. Such a shame as North 54 used to by my favorite restaurant in Prince George for many many years.
wonderful dinner but my wife is allergic to tomatoes and my wife told the waiters that she was but there must have been a little cross contamination because she still had an allergy reaction.
Food and service were terrific. Impressive wine list, too. Doing a great job in trying times...keep up the great work! Will definitely come again when visiting PG.
Awesome food. Pudding for desert with espresso was perfect. Miss the linens, dame pandemic.
Really great service and lovely ambiance. The food was great, some creative dishes and unique flavours enjoyed by our party. Must go if you’re in pg and looking for a high quality dinner.
Great place to eat. I would love to see a more economical lunch menu.
The food and service was outstanding! Very clean and well spaced out for Covid times
Delicious food Homemade pasta, very tasty and worth going for Dinner
The setting is very nice, bright and spacious. The service is good, very polite. The food was the issue. I ordered a 12ounce rib eye steak, it had no flavour at all in regards to spice. To discover it perfectly it was like the steak was boiled in water and thrown on a grill enough to give it a burnt charcoal taste. My wife order the lamb, flavour was good but the lamb on the bone was sliced so thin (1/4” thick) and had 5 pieces. Not good value for the price. Very disappointed for the $185 meal including the tip given for good service.....not the food.
Excellent food and friendly staff. I will definitely be back
Food was delicious!! Our server was great. He admitted to being somewhat new, and he seemed a little nervous, but we found it quite charming. We had such a fun evening, and a fabulous meal!
We always enjoy dining at North 54. We like a quiet, relaxing atmosphere (low background music so you can talk and relax). The food is excellent and prepared to satisfy each person's palate. The chef caters to your requests and will adapt the dish to meet your individual tastes/diet. The hostess greets you at the door and the servers are friendly and efficient. For an enjoyable evening out North 54 is the place to go.
Very polite staff, and food was delicious! I would go back in a heartbeat!
Our food was great and the service was great. It’s just too bad the prices are so steep that we can only go there for special occasions because I would love to go more. We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary & wanted it romantic, but it was hard to hear each other with a table of 6 next to us who were quite loud.
Was surprised how casual the atmosphere was. The prices are steep but the food is amazing. Love the creativity and plethora of flavors.
Ribeye steak was excellent. Great flavours and quality. Date pudding Dessert was also very tasty. Highly recommended
Delicious! Mushroom ravioli in brown butter sage sauce was dessert for dinner; steak was perfectly cooked.
The restaurant is following COVID safety requirements fairly well, tables are spaced and capacity visibly reduced, staff were wearing masks, good ventilation, etc
Delicious food and amazing service!!!! Lobster ravioli was fantastic.
Was good until a bigger table came in behind us then service went to non existent and slow, entree was brought out by another person as I could tell by temperature of it that it had been up for awhile.
I have visited this place when it first opened and the food was delicious, my last visit was a disappointment to say the least. I’ll leave it at that.
Food was quite greasy. It was pasta with a brown butter sauce but the amount of grease was quite significant.
Great service and good food. The music was really loud so it made it very hard to hear our server who was already muffled behind her face shield.
The food was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone.
Steaks had were under seasoned and were over charred. Apps were really good.
Waitress was very good at her job very friendly services.
Excellent steak, lobster lasagna & service PLUS they worked around my keto diet!
Unfortunately this experience was rather underwhelming. My last experience at North 54 a year and a half ago was so amazing and I have been referring colleagues working in Northern BC since my dinning experience. However Saturday we all felt like the big excitement of coming to dine was rather bland. The lighting was awkward and bright, music very quiet, food was all under seasoned. Steak was not anywhere near the mouthwatering steak I had the last visit. $50 for a 1/4 of cheese fondue with a small side of croutons and cut in half baby potatoes was ridiculous. I would have expected steak bites or veggies with fondue and a better presentation of it. We were just so excited that we were let down coming in with the high expectation of our last visit. I think possibly the chef was different also. Overall ok experience not great.
North 54 didn't disappoint, excellent service, and food. Certainly handled the social distancing and everything that needed to be done around our new way of dinning out.
Food and service as usual was by far some of the best I have ever had. North 54 is always worth every cent paid!
The service was quick, friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and all of us enjoyed our meals. We were seated at good distance from each other and from other patrons.
Service was great , drinks were filled constantly but my tenderloin was WAY over cooked (as in well done ) And blackened on the ends way to much . All I wanted was a good steak for the price we had to pay. The peppercorn and mash and veg was very nice though . it was our first date night together away from the baby in monthhhhs and It was nice but just a bit to quiet and the food was okay, calamari was good minus the mass amounts of salt on it , a bit more distribution of the onion and salt mix would have done it . Social distancing measures were taken though which was nice to see :)
Had a good supper - excellent service.
The Caesar shrimp wrap was amazing!
Awesome food , best pasta I have ever eaten.Excellent wait staff .
It was awesome great cooks and awesome waiters/servers. Love eating here lots of good vibes. I'll keep eating here as long as it stands I'll keep coming bk. The owners are awesome person.
