The food incredible, staff were ver helpful and friendly, the atmosphere we truly enjoyed. We’d certainly recommend and will be returning on our next trip. Our seating provided us a full view of the kitchen, you could certainly tell they had a passion for what they were preparing…meticulous !!

We came in with high hopes, purely based on the reputation of North And Navy. Service was good, however the food quality was very disappointing, especially given the price point. I had no desire to finish my main dish, which has never happened to me before (the waiter was kind enough to offer to return the dish, but I declined). We did not even look at the dessert menu.

Really good and interesting food. I had the Risotto and meat balls, both very good. The desert was excellent. The service was very knowledgeable and helpful. Even had a free glass of prosecco on the house, at arrival. Definitely worth returning.

Our entire party of four all agreed that North and Navy was the perfect venue for us after a lengthy meeting at our Foundation’s Annual meeting. The wine list was terrific and the shared plates of food were delicious. We were very appreciative of the seating arrangement that allowed us to use the small library room as we were able to chat, debrief and relax. Our group wants to return next year! Thanks to your great staff who were very courteous, knowledgeable and efficient.

I’ve been to N&N for dinner but this time it was to have a glass of wine and nibble at the bar. There were great by-the-glass options and the small bites were excellent. We shared the meatballs and an eggplant dish. The place was full and lively for a cold Tuesday evening in November, which was great to see. I recommend for dinner or for grabbing a post-work drink and snack. Definitely doing this again.

Bon mais cher Cinq tranches fines de mortadelle de cerf(très bonne) pour 26$ Beefsteak a la florentine 200$ Belle mais très chère carte des vins. Dessert décevant, choix entre une panna cotta minuscule et un tiramisu , ça manque de recherche par rapport au reste du menu

Our server(unfortunately I can't recall his name at this time) was very pleasant, knowledgeable and checked up on us regularly. The food was delicious, though pricey of course. I could see us coming back for a annual anniversary dinner. My only complaint was that it seemed very loud inside at the time, I thought it would have been more mellow and quieter being a smaller space, but it was actually very loud.

The food was unique and fun! Service was below average. I felt that they treated my partner and I differently from the other couples there. They explained and gave more attention to the other people and I felt that they were intentionally ignoring us. The service threw the evening off for us.

Service was very good. Wine list for full bottles was too limited. Food was good. Once restaurant filled up, the noise level made it difficult to have conversation with all 4 of us at the table. This was same problem we encountered on a previous occasion.

We sat at the bar and I have to say we never have had better service, in any of the many restaurants we've been to over the years, Quinn, the mixologist / bar tender /server is an absolute genius when it comes to client service, attention to details and making people feel welcome and important. She is an absolute gem!

My partner and I went here for date night. We were underwhelmed by the food, unfortunately. Perhaps the menu of the moment just wasn’t it. The meats were a little overcooked and the presentation of the main dishes was lacking. The vibe was nice and the service was good. I quite enjoyed my negroni.

One of Ottawas best restaurants We have been to North and Navy a few times in past number of months and it is one of Ottawa’s gems. From great food to very warm, but not overbearing service, well worth the visit. Food is unique, fresh, scrumptious and portions are reasonable size. Great for sharing! Service is very warm, servers know their stuff, describe dishes well and have good suggestions. Wine options are also very good. Highly recommend N&N!
