   Some of the best Italian food I have w er had! The lobster risotto was better than the risotto in Italy. Service was very good, we had the meal family style so we could try more. The dish size is perfect just enough to leave you satisfied but wanting more because it was so good. The Cavolo a palo (cabbage steak) was amazingly good.

   Spectacular dishes for all four in our party. The recipes are innovative and the presentation is pitch perfect. Maureen, our server, was knowledgeable, patient and personable -- in these days of staffing issues, even more remarkable. Table 1, right in the front window of the converted old home, is a superb spot, too. This isn't inexpensive and the servings aren't huge, but we felt we got our money's worth in every way.

   Unique food options, absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Excellent service. There was a large group in the front room last night so it was a bit noisy. Very attentive to my food extensive list of food allergies; much appreciated.

    We are not understanding the hype or why North and Navy is considered to be a top restaurant in Canada. The food was bland, boring, and expensive. Service was great, but it doesn't make up for overpriced, small menu options.

    Terrible food, prices, and experience. Skip the pastas, tried 2/4 and both were poorly made. Prices are insane for such small portions and poorly made food. Wouldnt go back.

    Extremely small quantities for extremely high prices. You will not leave full nor satisfied. You will leave hungry, ripped off, angry, and going online to write a review of how terrible this restaurant is (as I am doing now).     A charming location with a small but diverse menu. Don’t be shy to ask your server about what each of the dishes are, it helps make an informed decision. The first two categories are smaller sharing plates, so you can mix and match a lot of varied and tasty dishes. The ambiance was lovely, as it is set in an old house.     Not a lot of value here at all ! 3 small meatballs for $24 ? And they weren’t very good 3 small Bacala fritters were extremely salty and expensive The main dish was expensive and tasteless. Also they kept asking what the occasion was and I said 30 year anniversary,, why ask if you don’t offer anything to your customers ? A nice touch and a really great restaurant would have offered a dessert or a drink on the house , Sorry but Overall I have to say the dining experience was major disappointment!

    It’s one of the best restaurants that we’ve been to! I would highly suggest that you take your time and enjoy every course to get a full experience. We shared every course and we had plenty of food. I would consider this gourmet! The presentation, the details, the ambiance, the wine and especially the service with a smile, the service from Maureen was exceptional! It seemed like all the servers were top notch. We will return! If you’re the type that likes to take photos of the food this is certainly the place to do it, it won’t disappoint! Take the time to enjoy all the special details!

    My sister and I were celebrating her birthday at dinner last night and the restaurant didn't disappoint. I do think that they need to have a bigger selection of Salads. I know that Northern Italian food is very rich and our Cod dish was outstanding but it would have benefitted from some vegetables on the side. I found the beans accompanying the fish a little heavy and would have appreciated some . I have eaten in other Northern Italian restaurants they seem to have paid attention to this aspect of the meal--even an al la carte selection of vegetables would have been appreciated. I was very surprised at the inclusion of a Nova Scotian wine selection but was very happy that I ordered a glass--bravo for carrying this new wine region. I will seek out the wine to purchase more. Overall, it was a very good restaurant choice to celebrate. ( A cake selection would have been nice as my sister had affogato with no candle! )
