    I celebrated my birthday with some of my friends one evening at the kitsilano location. It was the perfect place to do so!! The atmosphere was positive and I felt like I was at a restaurant in Europe. The architecture and style in the back of house is absolutely beautiful. The service was impeccable and the food/wine was delicious. Highly recommend! Definitely a hidden gem in Vancouver. Will be coming back for sure.

    Nuba is a pretty boisterous joint, sometimes loud enough to make conversation challenging, but the food is fantastic and the service is always excellent. It's my go-to spot when I have vegetarian or vegan friends visiting, and it has yet to disappoint.

    We went just before the dinner service started and ordered from the lunch menu. The grilled Mezze Sampler was drop dead amazing!! The issue we found was with the service. Basically sat down and forgotten about and the waitress when she did come to our table was not friendly. Still would go back at a different time to see if it was just a one-off

    They sat us in the back where there was no air conditioning or fans. It was so hot that we were all sweating. We were also sat beside a large 14+ person party when there were many other tables available. Very poor service from management, although our server was lovely.

    Excellent quality Lebanese food, with good share plate options. Drinks run pricy, but maybe that's current rates. I would recommend. Service was excellent.

    Nice food on the whole but rather overpriced. The tabouleh salad has almost no bulghar wheat. Both mains were good and wine was good but expensive. The staff started clearing up round us at 9pm which we felt was unnecessary. Probably wouldn’t visit again

    After 6 years, this is the last time we’ll be visiting Nuba. Anyone who’s been going to Nuba for years will tell you that it has gone from the top of the list to the bottom. Portions have become drastically smaller and prices have exponentially risen to the point where you walk out hungry. Understandably, things have changed after covid but the ownership at Nuba have taken it to a new level. Very sorry, as we used to love coming here.

    Walking by seem like authentic decorated and amusing. So made a reservation for Monday. A bar person and two servers. Rest in kitchen Service was slow and lacking. I say this because the restaurant wasn’t busy. Made eye contact a couple of times but server seemed occupied. Server didn’t seem to have an understanding of the food. When asked about the items on the menu. how do authentic Lebanese food is to be eaten.? They say “Yes, it’s good “ or “I like it “ or “this is how I eat it “ when asked “ Over priced. Smal portions. Lamb kabob were grind mixed w other fillers. Perhaps I mistaken about kabob. Will not return. Disappointed.

    Good drinks and tasty food with a great variety if you have vegetarians and vegans in your party. It’s also a large restaurant so they are able to cater for big groups quite easily. Friendly service, worth a visit.

    Great food. We had a family meal with a number of different food restrictions (FODMAP, dairy allergy, vegetarian) yet everyone found lots of delicious foods to eat. Highly recommend the platters as you get lots of wonderful and intensely flavourful foods. Great experience, Nuba, thanks!

    This cozy venue has a lot of personality due to the actual building - lots of little alcoves and balconies so it almost feels like you’re outside in a faraway land. The service was fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious.

    Sat a long time before someone came to take your drinks order, cant hav eCaesars or Bloody Marys as no mixes with tomato in them ? What is that about ? Had Negroni , was good . Later requested gas of white wine either Pinot Grigio or Sauv Blanc , they had run out of both !!! Hummus , flatbread & olives to start , very good . Vegan platter for 2 good , tho Falafel a little dry . Good ambience & good service after initial drink slowness
