Really excellent food and service! The restaurant is beautiful and modern-has an incredible outdoor seating area. Smaller portions because quality food is served. The menu has variety, gluten-free and very unique and solid pairings-you won’t be disappointed!

Went to O&B Canteen for the first time. It was Super Bowl Sunday; so the place was not so packed as it usually is. The ambiance is upscale-casual, with clean lines and perfect lighting. Service was very professional: attentive and efficient, but still friendly. We ordered from the WInterlicious lunch menu. Best dishes were the salad, the chicken with couscous, and the apple crumble. I would definitely go back for the regular brunch menu. This is a great place to have a light lunch with friends or colleagues.

We are frequent patrons of this restaurant. The food is great - high quality and perfectly prepared - very innovative. The service is always good and they are extremely obliging with accommodating where we'd like to be seated. Don't often make a reservation - but will from now on so that we can get the seats I like best! Feel free to share my comments with the restaurant.

A couple coworkers and myself booked for a Winterlicious lunch - as usual the food was delicious, with satisfying portions and simple recipes made consistently well. This isn't a regular spot for me, but I'm always impressed that I can return after a long span of time and the food is still reliably great. The service was quick and friendly, our server Alyssa was great!

I love going here for lunch during the week. The food is really delicious and the service is warm, attentive and accommodating. The bonus is that I can come in at noon, get a great lunch and still get out in time for my 1:00pm meeting.

I made reservations online for O&B Canteen and as a joke, under special requests, I wrote " I would like a framed picture of tim the tool man taylor" and completely forgot about it......

Well props to the management. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💯💯💯

Winterlicious price fix menu. Arancini was great! Cubano lacked the requisite buttered and toasted bread along with most importantly the mustard! Apple crumble was alright. Cramped seating didn’t do wonders for the experience either.

Winterlicious menu offered good value, apps really good, the Cuban sandwich large portion but the beef short rib mac and cheese needed more beef. The banoffee dessert was way too sweet. There was so much sugar that it didn't melt but crystalized making the dessert grainy.

Went to O&B Canteen for a Winterlicious date night and enjoyed it very much! Drinks were good, food was great! Short rib mac & cheese was delicious! Great deal for food. Very lively spot (great for people watchers), loud at times but can't complain. Service was phenomenal! Would like to definitely go back and try out some other dishes from the menu.

O&B lost a regular on monday
It was mimosa day and I love mimosas so I ordered one, but when it came it was solid OJ. Absoloutley no prosecco in there, there wasnt even a hint of fizz. When I told the server he laughed it off like it was just me (the alcoholic) needed something stronger, and instead of offering to top it up with prosecco I had to order something else. I love the Gin and thyme drink so I had that instead. Normally they are fizzy with the cava but I thought at least I can taste the gin. I wasn't going to complain again.
Just before our mains, I had almost finished my gin and needed another. Maybe my poor choice of words, but i said "I think I'm going to order another one of these" and showed him the empty glass. The look on his pale gingery face said, wow you drink fast, but his words were "let me get you your food and then I'll see how you feel." He said it in such a nonchalant way, I didnt even realize he had basically said No until he walked away.

A managerial lady came seconds later with the food and asked if she could get us anything else, so I asked her for the drink instead and it came right away with no unnecasarry comments. A few minutes into the food our original server came back to ask us how the food was, he saw my drink had already been topped up. He laughed and said something like "oh you decided to get another already!" I was thinking - I'd decided when I asked you but you did nothing about it! It was only then he thought it was safe to take the half champagne glass of orange juice Id been ignoring all night.

In conclusion, all evening every drink was a different strength, the gins got stronger everytime until the last was basically pure gin and not a cocktail. Crap bartender.
I felt like my server made rude stabbing comments all night about how much I was drinking (4 cocktails with food) and still charged me for the OJ mimosa. I have never been spoken to like that from a server, I felt like it was an intervention.
O&B Never again.

Meh, I had a gift card so I'm glad I didn't pay for the meal itself, the ham on the breakfast items has got to go, give me real bacon or peameal.

As usual, my wife and I were delighted with the friendly atmosphere, the reliably well-prepared and well-presented menu, and the attentive and capable service. We were "showing off" one of our favourite venues for an evening out (dinner and a film at the O&B Canteen and the TIFF Bell Lightbox) to our son, who was visiting from California. We were not disappointed, and he was pleased and impressed!

Heard the brunch was great. For dinner there wasn't a menu option that I particularly wanted but that's more personal than restaurant oriented. Had a cocktail and the service was good.

We had tried to get a 12:00 reservation, as we had tickets for a 2:00 show, but It was busy so We reserved for 12:15 Saturday afternoon. We arrived a bit early, but were seated around 12:15. Service was pleasant, but the meals were slow to arrive. Coffee, tea, etc. were served fairly promptly, and we were able to order soon afterwards, but then things really slowed down. All of us received our meals after 1:05. I enjoyed my soup, but the calamari tacos, although tasty, were about room temperature. In my opinion, we had to wait much too long for a canteen brunch. I enjoyed my lunch, although I had to rush to finish it and pay the bill so we could get to the show on time. I've eaten here before, and might do so again, but would not choose this venue again if I had a later appointment.

Enjoyable from start to finish. Host was great at arrival and with seating. Lively atmosphere. Food was good. But, what really made the evening was our server. Our server was truly amazing. Attentive and friendly, but not overly intrusive. It is rare that you get a server so good you feel obligated to tell them how good they were, and that was the case for us.

And always love trying to figure out the back of the servers t-shirts!

First off, the staff did not want to be working brunch. From the hostess to the wait staff everyone was very unpleasant.

Arrived for Brunch and was seated (as requested) on the Patio. Our drink order never got placed and we waited 20 minutes for an eventual coffee after another waitress retook our order. Were told they didn't have steamed milk for child with us even though they had lattes, cappuccinos and other barista drinks. Child was told we have juice.

We were one of the first tables seated as our reservation was at brunch open time. It took us over an hour to get food. To put it plainly we were completely ignored, other tables on the patio were served without incident, but our waitress had tables inside and ours was the only outdoor table she seemed to be handling.

The food was good but the overall experience was lousy. I have been to this restaurant for dinner and have never had issues, this has always been a reliable restaurant with good food. When a 10 year notices how 'grumpy' everyone is, you know it is a very bad day.
