    The food was delicious. (Had the Canteen breakfast). The server named Kaylee was awesome. Great two seater table next to the window. The glass of white wine was delicious as well. Very reasonably priced!

    The server I had was excellent, attentive and friendly but the host staff was a bit cold/indifferent. The food was ok. I had the tuna poke bowl and the rice was cold and clumpy and the tuna not as fresh as it could be. I feel the menu needs a bit of an overhaul with more "comfort food with a twist" options, as it used to be many years ago.

    I had the Steak & Fries and this dish was enough to discourage me from ever returning to the restaurant. The cut was uneven and sinewy, making it hard to cut even with a steak knife. The steak was flavourless and the sauce did not help things. I had just a few bites and gave up. I mentioned it to our waiter the manager came over and apologized and comped the meal. He said he would mention it to the kitchen staff. Normally I would have given them a second chance and returned for another meal; however, this was already their second chance, having had a bad experience at a previous visit. That involved an extremely long wait for our food, with one of our party’s meal being forgotten, and the rushed attempt to provide a substitution a complete failure. No apology that time from the waiter, nor any followup from a manager. I expected better from a restaurant with its reputation.

    Great place for a nice dinner before a movie or theater. The squid tacos were very good and the lamb tagine outstanding. Service and vibe is very good.

    My party of six and I were very satisfied with our short quick dinner at o &B canteen. We were late past our reservation but they still held it . We were so short on time as we had a show to get to. Our server was amazing, promptly took our order, and served it within 15-20mins. Fasted service we have ever received in a sit down restaurant. Very good food, great service!!!

    Everything was perfect for a pre-theatre experience! Everything was timed beautifully, and we were served by a friendly, attentive server. Everyone was the same; I felt like we were dining in an establishment that valued both their guests and their staff equally. A perfect recipe for success. Bravo to O&B Canteen, and thank you!

    Our server was excellent and the new suggested menu items were amazing!! We did make an online reservation and were seated at a random table in middle of the walkway between two other tables (There were two like this in the restaurant). I didn’t feel comfortable sitting at this table and asked to be moved, our server spoke to the manager who said nothing else was available and were told we weren’t allowed to move. We decided to leave, and then as we were were leaving a table close by became available and our server moved us. I can understand not being moved or accommodating a request in a full restaurant. There were 2 other empty tables for 2 and 6 tables for 4 open. It wasn’t a great start to our meal but thanks to Preet for making our evening so enjoyable and moving us before we left to go elsewhere. We eat here often and will be sure to request a booth or table along the window moving forward. Thanks Preet and chef for saving our experience!!

    It is perfect before a movie. I had the fish and chips and found them both very very salty. Service was great and will go again but choose something else. It is a little noisy and definitely make reservations. I did enjoy the happy hour rose.

    Great and friendly service and a menu with decent variety. Taco appetizers continue to excel. Good selection of wines, Shiraz was our choice this time. Smashburgers were ok but a bit less oil would be good. The folks at the coffee bar really know their stuff. My flat white was right on point.

    A real disappointment. I’ve been to this restaurant before and have enjoyed it. The service was terrific and the location is great. The “avocado salad “would have been more accurately called the “iceberg lettuce salad with specks of avocado”. Really disappointing as it was difficult to find any avocado at all. Fortunately, when asked the manager provided some additional avocado. In addition, the” extra protein” for the salad: chicken tenders was $10 for five little pieces of chicken.. In previous years, the food portions seem to be ample. But something has changed.

    When we go to one of the theatres on King Street, we have fallen into the habit of having brunch first at the O&B Canteen. The service is friendly and efficient, and there is an interesting choice of brunch type dishes. I usually go for the traditional breakfast, but this time I tried the Cinnamon French Toast and it was excellent.

    It was nice over all. Excellent service and great atmosphere, however, the the portions were very small for the price point and quality. For example I got the pasta. It was a vegetarian dish and it was a main course option for something like $26. It came in a small bowl and the dish only filled 1/3 of the bowl. For a vegetarian pasta dish with relatively cheap ingredients for a main course item it was decidedly too small. If I’m going to pay for a main course it’s upsetting to be given an appetizer sized portion of food. If not for being able to have some my partners steak, which was cooked beautifully, I would have left starving - or be forced to buy some other over priced small portion food option.

    The restaurant was clearly having a problem in their kitchen. We waited an hour to get our food. It was not the wait staff, as there were many waiters and our waiter came by many times to apologize for the wait. The manager was also seen trying to help out. We appreciate being compensated 15% off our bill for the long wait.

    The service is excellent and the food came out very quickly! I didn’t used to be like this but now it is. We had the cheese cake for dessert and I heard this is being discontinued. Too bad. It is a favourite.

    Great as usual - service is fast and friendly and staff ensure you get to your performance on time. Best of all, the new menu includes the Mac and Cheese again - yay! Had it with the Rose All Day and my friend had the Lamb Tagine which was also very tasty.

    The food was terrible. It was not served the way we had ordered it. The eggs were not over easy . it took a long time to get the food and there were many errors on our order. We would not recommend this restaurant

    Food was mediocre at best. The menu is very limited which is what restaurants are forced to do to these days to keep prices somewhat affordable. They get you on the booze! My glass of wine was $21 for an average wine. Lights were very bright and we were pushed through very quickly. It felt rushed and overpriced. Welcome to the new dining experience!
