Service was great. Had dinner in the hibachi. Chef was outstanding kept it entertaining and interacted with everyone in the table. Enough food to fill you up and and maybe have some left over.

We made a reservation because it was within walking distance of our hotel. When we walked in, the place looked run-down and unclean. The smell was very bad and our feet stuck to the floor. They took us to a table that was also sticky and gave us a plate that had dried food stuck on it. I excused myself to go the men’s restroom to wash my hands. There was a huge puddle of water in the middle of the bathroom floor from a leaky drainpipe below the sink that is a 15-minute replacement job. They knew it was leaking because they had tied a plastic sandwich bag around the pipe where the leak was. The whole place smelled really bad. When I left the bathroom (as quickly as possible), the stink by the kitchen was unbearable. I glanced through the open doorway into the kitchen area and it was very unkempt and looked dirty. I went back to the table and told my son we were leaving. I wasn’t risking stomach problems on vacation and I felt sure that’s what would’ve resulted if we had stayed.

Oishi may or may not serve acceptable food, but between the dingy atmosphere, rude staff, and inability to follow through on agreements it is not a restaurant that is worth my time or money. We made a reservation days in advance to celebrate a special occasion, and when we arrived at Oishi a truly unpleasant hostess told us we would have to wait an hour to be seated. It is understandable to run out of tables; however, it is unacceptable to take reservations and then refuse to attempt to follow through on the commitment. Adding insult to injury, as we were waiting to be turned away from our reservation, the hostess assigned a shorter wait time than ours to a larger party that arrived with no reservation.

This place was out of control. Had to wait 30mins to sit WITH A RESERVATION!!! They never brought out the flowers I bought earlier for my wife, and to top it off, THEY CHARGED MY CARD TWICE FOR TWO DIFFERENT ORDERS. **AMATUER AT BEST**CORONA VIRUS AT WORST**🤬🤢

I reserved the table via open table for 730. When I got there at 730 they told me that i had to wait another 20 mins because “ having a reservation does not mean that i will get a table” We waited and we got the table 20 mins later. Then we ordered the food. They started to bringing the plates at different times. The last two plate which one was a very simple spicy tuna took 40 mins. I was getting ready to leave but i was just tired and did no feel like searching for a place to eat on a Friday night of valentines day. I do not recommend this place

Food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either, the habachi chicken was pretty bland flavor wise but I did order it without veggies but the fried rice was bland too my fiancé’s food was good he stated venue is super nice and service was standard.

Service was fine but a terrible Hibachi experience. Hibachi chef seemed inexperienced and a bit absent minded. Fried rice damp and salty. All the meats were too salty. 18% gratuity automatically included in the bill, which is written on small print on the menu, so take your chances.

Pricey for a family of 4 if your kids are tempted by the pikachu roll or don’t want to order off the kids menu. Plenty of food and pretty authentic

It was for our friends Anniversary. Bought a groupon for 4 and we wanted to have brunch. They said that for a brunch they did not have enough cooks so rather than a Hibachi table the food would have to be cooked in the back and brought out. We asked them could we have Tempura instead? They said NO . SO ok we had Hibachi cooked in the kitchen. 🥺 ALL the food was cold, Vegetables were from a bag still semi frozen. Everything was tasteless. Meso soup was yummy but everything else was terrible. So for a Groupon brunch still ran $90.00 for 4 people and the entire experience was terrible. Do NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.

Food had way too much sauce on everything. Very salty and wet. Scallops tasting funky and the soup was terrible. The cook was very sloppy and messy. All of us ate less than a quarter of the food and we were all gassy when we got home. Spent $45 for a Groupon plus $60 overage. Very disappointed in the money we spent for the quality of food we received

We have been to Oishi numerous times over the last 10 years and have always enjoyed it. This time, we were sorely disappointed. Despite making a reservation, we waited about 15 minutes. The hostess was rather abrupt and not friendly. Our server was young, friendly and cheerful--very efficient. Our chef was superb--played to the kids at the table and gave a great show to all! The food was sub par. The scallops were very fishy and did not taste or look like real scallops--they looked fake. The shrimp was just OK. The bathroom had a faucet that was detaching from the sink. A sign of a restaurants cleanliness is the bathroom. For my family, Oishi is a never again.

Wonderful service. Scott was a fun chef and great with the kids. Filet Mignon was a little tough, but everything else tasted great & the show was magnificent!

It’s a little suspect looking when you walk in but honestly, the food was excellent! Our hibachi chef was especially awesome and entertaining! We’ve been to a lot of hibachi places so it’s hard to really entertain me anymore... this guy, Scott, was great! Kids loved him, too! Ambience was seriously lacking ... but made up for by excellent food and fair prices!

We didn't sit at the hibachi tables, those would have been louder, but out booth was pleasantly quiet. The server was very nice and attentive. Food was delicious. We would definitely eat here again the next time we are in the Orlando area.

Food good, made reservation for 7:30, received call 5 min later that they only have one chef for hibachi table and i need to come in at 7:00. Got there at 7 still waited 30 min for chef to come, he never came they sent over kitchen help to come and cook. No interaction whats so ever. If i wanted kitchen food i could have sat a regular table and gone to a Japanese restaurant.

Our first night of vacation for dinner didn’t set the right tone. The worst hibachi I’ve ever been to. I’m pretty liberal when rating restaurants, but this one made me sick. First, they rushed us to get to the restaurant even though we had reservations because they had another party waiting and they wanted to fill the grill. There weren’t many people in the restaurant. Second, Chef Scott was a nice a guy and did his best, but he needs more training on cooking. The “fried” rice was more butter than rice. The steak was rubbery, they didn’t cut the tails off the shrimp, etc. He also dropped his knife (still in sheath) on the ground and continued to use it after picking it off the ground. My wife said it didn’t come out of the sheath, but still....He let the other party’s child we were seated with behind the grill to “try her hand at being a chef”. Normally I wouldn’t mind, but these people were disgusting meaning not hygienic clean and it was obvious. Third and probably the most disgusting was the smell from the floor itself. It literally smelled like someone defecated on the floor. How do we know this? We couldn’t figure out the smell once we got in the car to leave. We (family of 4) actually noticed it was coming from our shoe soles. That’s pretty bad. Needless to say we had to disinfect our shoes. None of ate our entire meal and although they boxed it up, we promptly dropped it in the Chevron gas station garbage next door. Save your money and order Flipper’s pizza across the street.

My fiance and I came expecting it to be just like every other chain hibachi restaurant but we were so surprised! The staff are so nice and the food was amazing! The dynamite roll was huge! When our chef, Scott came to our table he was so fun and charismatic! He really made the children laugh and enjoy their time, as well as the adults! They cook the food at a good pace so you actually have time to eat, digest, and enjoy your food! It is also fairly priced! You will enjoy your time there at any age!

Food very good! My husband loved the sushi...big pieces of fresh seafood. I had Yaki Soba noodles with chicken and it was yummy! The atmosphere was so-so but I would go again for the food!

The worst sushi I’ve ever had! Everything tasted fishy even the avocado! It has to be old I will never go back there again! Its obvious this place preys on tourism. Banking on no one will be back for a second time because they are from out of town.

We habe reserved a table in this restaurant. When we arrived, the waitress say us that we haven’t reservation! She was not disposed to find us a solution for the teppanyaki After discussing a little bit, she was outrageous with us and she treat us like poor people. It’s a poor restaurant and I’m really angry about this situation. At the place, we were at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse, without reservation, they was polite, for waiting was a ice-tea gifted. Go to KOBE JAPANESE STEAKHOUSE, no in Oishi

Restaurant was not busy for a Saturday. I went for a rice that was on the menu as coming out on a hot plate, I.e sizzling. To my disappointment, it came out like a standard fried rice. On a standard plate, temperate was ok, not steaming hot. Little favouring, but plenty of it - can’t fault on portion size. Unfortunately, it was nothing that I could not have made better myself and definitely not as sold on the menu.
