From the early years to the disco era, you will hear all the hits from “How Can You Men a Broken Heart, More Than a Woman, Jive Talking, How Deep Is Your Love to You Should Be Dancing”. Tier 2 tickets are for our ‘Queen’s Rangers’ seating area. You will be able to see the band, slightly further from our dance floor. Your view may be slightly obstructed. Food was stone cold. Meat was stringy. Yorkshire pudding as had as a brick. Plate was a visual nightmare. Ice cream scoop of cold dry mash potatoes under very bad bright lighting looked like something from a prison cafeteria ! $57 for this ? Sent meal meal back. It was comped and we walked out. What has happened to the jewel of the Kingsway ? A place where my parents went on their first date in the mid 1940’s

very enjoyable lunch at the Old Mill on a Friday afternoon. Food selection was fairly limited but was good quality. Key for ambience was that we were seated in the sun room area at the south part of the dining room. The main part of the dining room seemed dark, especially for lunch, and a bit dated.

Enjoyed a very pleasant evening. Food and service excellent. Had the calamari; delicious and a big serving for sharing. Also shared shrimp/scallop dish. Had the Caesar salad with salmon added to it. Again, delicious and a generous serving. With 2 friends had not seen in a while for a 6 p.m. dinner reservation, so enjoyed chatting for an hour or so after dinner was finished. Did not feel rushed to leave; server kept refreshing our water glasses until we called it a night at 9:30! Will be back another time for Brunch Buffet.

5th time doing brunch, this time to celebrate the birthday of a family member. Too, first time that we were more than 4 so we're assigned a different table from our usual. Altogether a pleasantly different experience for most the honoree. First time, too, that we were asked to pack up and leave as the staff was anxious to set the table for the next guests.

My group and I went for a Bachlorette brunch and the service was incredible, the food was excellent especially for a buffet, it was high quality taste like it was made for a single serving, 100% worth the cost of the brunch. And definitely great place for events especially if you want to take some photos!

We enjoyed the ample variety of hot foods and desserts during the brunch, however the waffles were cold and there was no whipping cream. Perhaps a choice of coffees (eg., dark roast, regular, decaffeinated or flavoured) would enhance the experience. A variety of background music would be more pleasant rather than only jazz.

We had brunch with my friends at Old Mills to enjoy the environment there. The food, service, environment were good. We are disappointed with the cleanliness of the women's washroom at ground level. 2 out of 3 stalls were unusable as they were dirty, not flushed, with wet toilet papers on the ground. It was unacceptable for a restaurant with such high standards and quality of the location and restaurant without having satisfactory and frequent cleaning service of the washrooms.

Our Sunday A La Carte Dinner menu just switched to Sunday Dinner Buffet service on September 10th. We now serve Brunch Buffet on Saturdays and Sundays and Dinner Buffet on Sundays only. The weekend brunch buffet at the Old Mill is a perfect way to spend time with family and friends. The food and service was outstanding. It has a bit of everything for everyone. The staff are always making sure the stations are topped up with food and the chocolate fountain and desserts are a perfect ending to the meal.

Waiter was a jolly soul but did get two things a bit wrong. Calamari dish was very good. We sat far inside because the sunroom was popular and noisy as a result. I wish the gift shop would re-open. If the hotel ever builds a swimming pool they might be a successful staycation place. They'd certainly get my business. The location across from the river and the garden are a huge attraction. It's too bad they had to cut back the days for the buffet lunch/brunch.

We were 2 on outside patio. Sadly it was a little windy on Friday. Some umbrellas blew over! Sounds of the water fountain were great! Food was very good. Our waitress was very nice but service a little slow. Will definitely be back on a less windy day.

Atmosphere was really nice, food was excellent. The only thing that was a problem is that we ordered entrees and then two main courses. The entrees came together, then they only served one main course, it took a while to get someone’s attention re the second main course then they had to check with the kitchen, at that point they realized they never put it in. They said it would take another 10 min but at this point we had shared the one main course they served and we were not interested in waiting for another. Also breakfast, ordered waffles asked for extra maple syrup, only brought approx 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, then had to wait for the extra syrup, but it was ice cold and so were the waffles.

Food was very, very good. Good variety for vegetarians/vegans as well as meat and fish/seafood diners. Desserts were very good as well. We went to celebrate a birthday and reserved a patio table. Lovely ambience listening to fountain. It did start to rain as we were finishing our main course but we were accommodated inside. Wait staff was very pleasant and accurately noted our allergies.

Very enjoyable brunch. Only negative was slow removal of plates between courses. Resorted to piling dirty plates from a couple of courses on top of each other due to limited table space.

We had visitors from Europe with three different kind of dietary limitation. Gluten free, no milk products and a vegetarian. The good bye dinner looked very challenging so we decided to go to the Old Mill for brunch so everyone could select whatever they wanted from the wide range of food that was being offered. All 10 of us had a good time, everyone found generously food what they could enjoy and the service we received was exceptional. We very much enjoyed our visit to the Old Mill and for sure we will be back. Many thanks for the memorable experience.

Visit to Old Mills never fails to satisfy. We've been doing the brunch as a family, this time, though, we had it with friends from the US. Same reaction-an elegant place for a meal (midmorning at that). We plan to bring next visitors to the restaurant - perhaps, even to enjoy the live music during the week. Kudos!

Although I’m not a fan of the decor inside the old mill…however for some people, it has a certain ambience. The terrace is where I usually dine and I like it very much. It feels like you’re in somebody’s backyard. The food is good and the price is fair.

OpenTable app and Old Mill website did not disclose that the dinner buffet was over on June 25th. So we showed up not expecting to pay for a la carte menu and therefore we ordered less/enjoyed less. Service was slower in the dining room due to more people on the patio. Food was mediocre and overpriced.
