We are open for Weekday and Weekend Dining — both Lunch and Dinner serving a la Carte and our signature Buffet. We host a Jazz Series on select Friday nights together with our Dinner & Dancing Series on select Saturday nights. Tickets Below.

We are located in Toronto’s beautiful and lush West End. Steps away from Old Mill TTC Subway Station with convenient parking across the street from our Dining Room.

    The place was busy with several large groups. Tables were grouped in a small area at the back. Food was fair. The place is very casual contrary to what it used to be. We were a bit disappointed having had our wedding reception there in 1976 when it was a classy place. We’ve dined there regularly over the years but not since COCID. It’s not what it used to be.

    Our family comes to the Old Mill often aa it is a consistently good choice to celebrate a special occasion. A great variety of food, but staff had a bit of a problem keeping all the platters refilled. Perhaps it was because we had a 1pm reservation. Missed the dark chocolate mousse that I always look forward to, as well as the crepes that we had in March, but have now been discontinued (although they still show up on the brunch buffet menu). Service was excellent as usual. The one thing that I did not like, however, was the people not wearing masks and coughing all over the food. One elderly man never even bothered to cover his mouth as he coughed all over the orange tart I was cutting. Pretty unappetizing. Not wearing a mask when your sitting is one thing, but when you are hovering over food that others will be eating, it's unacceptable.

    I love going to The Old Mill. I have been going to The Old Mill for over 15 years. It is a beautiful venue for dining, celebrating events, or viewing the beautiful grounds.

    Great selection. Food was overall really good. Service was okay - got busy closer to noon so quality of service decreased a bit. Buffet has a lot of Covid prevention strategies set up which was nice. Lots of space in the buffet area. Washrooms were okay - expected a bit cleaner.

    Host staff and service staff were great! Love the vintage vibe inside and outside of The Old Mill. The food was not up to par and not worth of the hefty price tag. Reservations for 1:30 and food was well picked over and not regularly replenished. Buffet stations were messy as well.

    It was a very enjoyable evening because both the food and entertainment was very good. We had fun dancing and listening to the music if “our” era. We will definitely come back! I highly recommend going for an evening out. It was also very good value for the money.

    Steak which was to be a ribeye 2 inch was definitely not. My meal also came warm but the ambiance of the music was wonderful and we will definitely come back for the dinner and dancing.

    The evening was a lovely experience and the staff very efficient in their service. It made my husbands 80th Birthday Celebration for us 10 a memorable night. The music provided us all a chance to shake our boogie and bring some love and laughter to the night. Your service was excellent and will certainly be coming back again, thank you so much!

    The food was delicious. The service was great, very attentive waiters. The only downfall was very little choice of main entrées for vegan or vegetarian. They have mashed potatoes and rice but that’s a side dish not a main entrée. They only had one main entrée it was a curried masala with chickpeas. They had cheese and salads and olives etc. so they had vegetarian/vegan antipasto but the amount of money that you spend you would think that they would have more vegan protein choices. Something to think about.

    I made a reservation very well in advance for a jazz event there. I was seated at a table with no view of the stage. Was told seating was first come first seated (really? Not posted that way and with confirmed table reservations several weeks before? I was moved after complaining but that should not have been necessary. “Beef bourguignon” meal had to be sent back. Tasty but said “beef” was pitifully countable in its size and volume. Again, fixed after complaining but should not have been so. Event itself was lovely. Table service was good.

    The staff were particularly nice and very friendly. Yami was constantly filling our glasses and clearing our plates. She was so pleasant. There is a wide variety of food made by talented chefs that taste delicious.

    We had a lovely evening. The entertainment was excellent as well as the service. However the chicken dinner I had was dry and the pasta flavourless. The Beef my husband had was tasty as well as the Appetizer. On the whole we had a pleasant experience

    We thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of the Old Mill. The historic building is lovely to visit, and we enjoyed an evening of dining and dancing. All of the staff were excellent - courteous, helpful, and attentive to their guests. The food was delicious and the servings were generous. We liked the menu choices with options available for various dietary requirements.

    Ambiance, service and food was all great! Great selection, I think there should be cream cheese available especially if you have smoked salmon on the menu and bagels too. One downside, there was a female employee who used the washroom and never washed her hands. She had a black, "Old Mill" sweater, I don't think she was part of handling the food who wore white but still, pretty nasty considering this is food/hospitality industry and we just coming out of pandemic.

    We would defiantly be back! We really enjoyed the brunch here, just one comment and this is when you make the reservation you are asked if you are celebrating any special occasion, once you are there, there is no acknowledgment of that. Overall great!

    Food was cold. Waitress was unfriendly. Took out of town guests thinking it would be a lovely lunch but I was so disappointed. And $45. That was shocking. Definitely not worth it. There are a lot of great places to go in Bloor West instead.

    Best mid day buffet that I have ever experienced. Selection of food was extensive and quality was exceptional. Made up for the poor experience we had here the previous evening.
