   Too expensive for the buffet. Never asked if we do the regular menu. Had to resort to the buffet. Drinks were ok. Server recommended drink that was below par. Good area for tourism and catered to them instead of locals.

   I was excited to learn that the Sunday champagne breakfast buffet was back at The Tequila Factory. It has changed. Our waiter that helped us was great. Very friendly and attentive with refilling my champagne glass. The food quality and selection needs some work. I like breakfast foods for a Sunday Brunch and there was very limited breakfast items which really only included an omelet station. No scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns or potatoes which there used to be. The ribs were tasty. Everything else I tasted was just ok. I think with some menu edits and turning the notch up on the food quality, this could be a top breakfast/brunch destination in San Diego!

   I found that the restaurant overall was very subpar and over priced. Everything felt like it could have been cleaner and it wasn’t a great value. I wouldn’t recommend

   Went for a group brunch on the weekend and it was helpful to be able to make a reservation ahead of time for our larger group. Buffet was well-stocked and although the food wasn't amazing it was still tasty. Waitress made sure to keep our glasses full of champagne, so we definitely got our money's worth there. Views from the window-enclosed patio were great, and we definitely enjoyed our experience.

   First time eating at the Old Town Tequila Factory, conveniently onsite at the Hacienda Hotel. Food was good and our waitress was very sweet and brought our drinks and food timely. We will eat here again for sure and will come back for a stay at the Hacienda.👍🏼

    We were sat with no silverware. All of the food was rushed out. My daughters apple juice was served in a can with no ice. The chips and salsa were served same time as meal. Food was rushed out. Any time we asked server for help there was a rush to it. We were seated at 7:20 and were done by 7:50 Food was Luke warm Disappointing

    Was surprised by how mediocre the food was for lunch. Very dry chicken for the fajitas. Cadillac margarita was missing the grand marnier on top. View is great though!

    My family & I have been coming to this brunch for many years, we where excited when we heard they where back to the regular brunch. So they raised the price by 10 dollars and food was bland and poor. They use to have all kinds of fruit, this time just cantaloupe, there use to be someone making fresh tortillas this time just store bought sitting on the counter still in there plastic wrapper. They use to have much more choices but not much this time around. If your going to raise the price to 35 dollars the food quality should be at least the same as it was.. It’s too bad, we really loved this place, looks like we have to find a new spot…

    Food and service was great. Upon arrival and being seated the music was terribly loud, so much so we were unable to chat at our table. I requested of the server; Can the music be turned down please? A few moments later it was for which we were very grateful. However, as the dining room became full capacity with flowing champagne the noise level didn't' need any music as people's voices grew louder the more that imbibed! We agreed in spite of that we will return.

    Buffet only on Saturdays and Sundays was a bit of a surprise. I don't think that is clearly noted on their website. However, the buffet was well worth the price.

    We was at a table, surrounded by a massive private party that just finished. They had trashed the entire place and the staff never cleaned it up for the entire hour and 45 minutes we were there. Manager never came out, and our server never came back out. This is the worst dining experience I’ve ever had!

    Great dinner on a somewhat cold night...had perfect table on their deck between 2 heaters, and caught an amazing sunset over SD! Once we had music turned down, our table of 5 had a wonderful time....good drinks, attentive service, and the food never disappoints here. Always having free, available parking, is a very nice bonus!

    I made a reservation days in advanced and as a special request I asked for the enclosed patio. On arrival they put us in the back corner of the dining area. I was told by the hostess the patio was wet. On leaving I noted many customers eating in the enclosed patio, the food is average Mexican food. The waitress talked us into getting the more expensive margarita pitchers. I swear they had no alcohol in them. The only reason I would recommend tequila factory is because they take reservations for large parties.

    The food was good, except for my flour tortillas. They were like tostadas , hard and Impossible to roll them . I had steak fajitas . The service was excellent. The margaritas were flavorful BUT no tequila taste or enough to even catch a 5 sec buzz and we asked for a pitcher. We didn’t request to be exchanged anything because the place was busy and the waiter seemed busy but he was very attentive.

    I was standing there waiting, the manager never made eye contact with me, another group of people came and the manager served them before me. I dont want to imply that he was racists but it really felt like i was being neglected due to my race. The rice was old and hard, the beans were really spicy, chile relleno hard and it came with no sauce even though in the menu it was supposed to have sauce.

    The gentleman working there was great, I believe he was the manager. He was working so hard. They were understaffed so even with a 6pm reservation we waited a long time to be seated. I only saw one server on the floor and she looked annoyed, understandably so if she was the only one working but it is nice to smile and still give good customer service.

    It was horrible. My boyfriend and we left sitting at the table for 15/20min and no waiter/waitress ever showed up. They would just walk past around the user table and completely ignored us. Useless to say we just got up and left.
