O&B Café Grill, Bayview Village is the first location of Oliver & Bonacini’s casual dining restaurants. Despite its North Toronto location, this large urban space feels very downtown. A gleaming open kitchen extends into the airy dining room, featuring washed tin ceilings, leather banquettes and dramatic and distinctive light fixtures. Its two exclusive private dining rooms offer the perfect space for social gatherings, celebrations or corporate events.

Refined yet casual, O&B Café Grill, Bayview Village’s expansive menu of North American and Italian classics offers something for everyone, including fresh, made-from-scratch soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas and fire-roasted pizzas. The weekend brunch menu showcases a mix of classic Eggs Benedict and Belgian Waffles alongside inventive comfort food like Fried Chicken & French Toast.

What a truly terrible dining experience. For starters, the reservation was made for 7:45, when we arrived at the restaurant we were told the kitchen was closing early for maintenance at 8:15. Giving us only half hour to order our meal (and dessert). No one called to confirm the reservation beforehand and ask if we would like to make it earlier so this was all a surprise. We ordered a drink and our waiter decided to give us another one since they were out of an ingredient, without consulting us first (the drink he brought was awful). Our appetizers came out at the same time as our meal, one of the meals wasn’t fully cooked, overall the food was decent but not worth the trouble. The truly terrible part of it all was that we were nothing but nice when letting our waiter know about the issues and he was incredibly rude to us the entire experience. He would basically scoff and walk away when we had very valid complaints. Despite all of the various problems we still had to ask for a manager to come by to speak with. The only thing I will say is that the manager (Zhara) was awesome and super nice and apologetic so that made up for it a bit. But I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends, especially with that miserable waiter working there.

O & B is a great place to go with a friend to enjoy good food and conversation. However, the Winterlicious menu was not very appetizing.

Good ambience but food cost is a little on the high side. But winterlicious deals is OK.

I haven’t dined here for quite a few years and I took the Winterlicious opportunity to return for lunch. Great food, service, value and comfy chic ambience! I also LOVED my Winterlicious cocktail, called Part 11, I believe. I am soon moving back to a neighbourhood closer to the Bayview Village Mall and am looking forward to visiting the restaurant more frequently! Wonderful when warm memories of a restaurant experience are not dimmed by the present!

We arrived early for lunch (before noon) so the place was empty. The hostess took us to a table right beside another couple so we asked for another table further away. Other than that slight ruffle the service was great. The Winterlicious was wonderful - would recommend the Korean fried chicken pizette - filling. My wife asked for a sauce for her salmon and the server brought two sauces, one a tartare sauce which she needed. Must have sent the chef into conniptions though. Food and service very good.

We had a good meal but possibly not the best we have had here, perhaps owing to the restaurant being jam packed. It was also very noisy so our older companions had trouble hearing.

we ordered the salmon during winterlicious. It was very good but seemed to lack some seasoning that would have enhanced the flavour even more. Liked the ambiance and the service.

We had the winterliciouswhich was a total disappointment.
My empanada was poorly done . It tasted dry.
My Korean fried chicken pixelate was poorly done.
We thought we gave this place a chance one more time but the food always seem to disappoint.
The best part was the service.

To be honest I expected the food to taste a little better but maybe it was the winterlicious rush. The fish was a bit dry and the Salisbury steak was a bit too salty. The bread pudding was good and the chocolate cake was so-so. It was a bit chilly in there, so ambience wasn’t that cozy, but the server was very friendly.

Without a reservation I had to eat in the outdoor mall seating. I nearly froze to death. The proximity to the doors to the parking demands a focus to heat the space or block the cold air. It was awfully cold

My Korean Fried Chicken Pizzawas dry. Both the chicken and the pizza. Also too salty.
I think the Korean chicken was leftover from last night's dinner. My soup was good, the best part of my lunch. The desert was Banana bread pudding. It was too sweet.

The waiters were very pleasant, but, although we had reservation, we had to wait 15min to be seated.
The it took 1 hour and 15 min for the food to arrive.
Even for a glass of wine to start with, we waited over 1/2 hour.
Very disorganized!

Our Winterlicious lunch was a very enjoyable experience. All dishes ordered were as described in the menu, great flavour and texture combinations, served at appropriate temperatures. Service was excellent. Highly recommend this time.

We were looking forward to experience another winterlicious menu at O&B in Bayview Village. We live in the area and have often dinner at this restaurant.
Lunch today was very disappointing. The kale salad was very dry and the leaves very hard. I asked for salad dressing to be able to eat it. The salmon was served with red cabbage, awful combination and taste. The Black Forest Cake was dry and tasteless. Overall very surprised of the low quality and the menu choices.

I went there for the Winterlicious. The service is good and the food is ok, but not much choice for the menu. If I come next time, I may try the original menu rather than the Winterlicious menu. The Winterlicious dishes is not valuable than what I expect.

Great menu, and amazing Winterliscious menu - appetizer greens with nuts and couscous, main fusili with goat cheese and lots of vegetables, and mouthwatering black forest mini cake (loved the cherries on the side ) with the hard chocolate on top of the chocolate sponge with whipped cream. HMMMM on your tastebuds! Thank you it was delicious with great service!

The appetizer and dessert were very disappointing. I expect a higher standard from O&B. The main course was ok. This is the second time that I did the Winterlicious at O&B and I won't go back.

Our server was outstanding...helpful, efficient, and friendly.
The food was very good, but would have expected the salmon skin to be crispy rather than slimy.
It was very loud and it was difficult to talk to others.
We enjoyed it - thank you!

Start of Winterlicious , restaurant was so busy, good thing we reserved.
Our waitress Devon was amazing, externally attentive to all our needs, one guest arrived late and she was quick to have her food ready so she didn't fall behind, I had the beef taco bowl and the penna cotta both of which were good, Caesar drinks were small portions long and slim glasses two sips and they were done
I would give 5 stars to our service and 4 for the food.

Generally food was good but we had one order for the Beyond Burger w/fries. This "burger" was the worst tasting "burger" I have ever had and the toppings were hohum. It would be so great if O&B could be leaders in plant based select dishes. Places like Planta have an amazing "burger" that is a signature item on their menu. The Beyond burger actually made me sick as it has preservatives in it that left a horrible after taste. If you are going to continue to serve this "burger" maybe you could think about making the toppings more exciting. Lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise on top of this processed "burger" was just awful. I always rave about O&B so this is my first experience with having something that was just not up to the standards that I felt O&B normally holds itself to. I hope that you can explore some delicious O&B plant based "burgers" with an O&B signature recipe as I am sure everyone will try them if they aren't processed and have interesting toppings!

We were a party of 5 and we ordered different things. Only one person complained about the fact the salad wasn't fresh enough. The salmon dish and the Panacota were outstanding. The place seemed a little "tired" and the floors weren't as clean as I would expected...however, it was was quiet and we could have nice conversations without being interrupted by personnel. The food timing was good, not too rush, not late (even it was a busy afternoon). Overall a nice experience.
